Master of the Graveyard
Characters: Izanami and whoever comes across her
Setting: Floor 82 and Floor 48
Format: Commentspam to start with
Summary: Izanami requires a change of pace, and she does have that lovely wedding kimono that's just sitting in her trunk...
Rating: PG or PG-13, depending on what is discussed
Warnings: Izanami herself is kind of a warning when she's in a mood
[Floor 82]
[Her clothing is hardly appropriate to dancing, but she doesn't mind. She's more here for the atmosphere--a ball, formal and elegant. It's a change of pace, the direct opposite from the dreary graveyard. She belongs there, yes, but she... Doesn't generally mind this place, either, even if she's only standing to the side and watching.]
[Floor 48]
[She belongs here, surrounded by graves and death. Even if the coffins are empty. Even if it's not a real graveyard. This is where the woman belongs, tending to the graves and taking her tea nearby. She is Death, no longer creation, and Izanami enjoys the gloom and quiet besides. Today, though, she hums an old lullaby to the "restless spirits" that may just be her own.]

It is nice to meet you again here. How have you been holding up?
no subject
[She pats the ground next to her and just smiles. It's good to see him again! Really, it truly is, especially after... Everything this past month.]
no subject
..It has been a harsh month for everyone..but I believe everyone is, slowly, starting to recover.

[Releasing the fog is something she doesn't wish to do, really, so she'd been staying her hand. Now it sounds like it won't be needed at all.]

[She won't bother trying to explain it otherwise, because it gets. Too complicated.]

[But most people hate dealing with that part of themselves, so it's... Very much an option she doesn't want to deal with.]

It was important to make sure that
A. Remilia's marked gravestone still had a seal on it
B. Marisa's marked gravestone still had one on it too
No one needed the undead up and walking around.]
What are you doing around here?
[Sadly, no introduction or anything. One Shrine Maiden still needed help in manners.]
Re: Floor 48
[She doesn't flinch, simply sip her tea calmly. If need be, she can defend herself quiet easily.]
Another answer is that I work here, tending the graves. Someone has to.
no subject
[What a convenient thing.]
Mind if I borrow your power in the future?
no subject
[She doesn't freely give her power away, after all. She chooses it herself, and the cause has to be something, well, amusing to her.]

Still, he had yet to pay the room much attention, and so decided to pay it a visit. And in truth he had actually felt as though he fit in with the crowd rather well with his blue suit and jacket. Of course he had to replace his usual mask with the one that had been given to him. But that was just fine with him, so long as no one recognized him.
Then, he spotted a woman standing off to the side. Even in a formal dance like this, well especially in a formal ball like this, Mitch did not want to see anyone be a wallflower. The dance itself was low action and slow enough as things were. So, deciding to see if he could get her to move with the rest of the group, he decided to approach her.]
'Sup?
Re: Floor 82
[Izanami isn't meaning to be a wallflower, but she doesn't exactly want to have to repair her kimono. It is, after all, dragging along the floor slightly, and that could end badly.]
Are you well?
no subject
[He moves to lean against the wall. He really did not see much of a problem here. Slow dancing wasnt all that hard in his mind. Now if the tempo of the dance had picked up, then he could see a possible problem.]
Not know how to dance?
no subject
[She's smiling nonetheless, as she is enjoying his company. She's just... Not one to dance, really. Well, not with anyone. And the one she would dance with isn't here.]
no subject
[He could understand it being important to her. But then why wear it at all? He hummed in thought a little.]
Can't roll it up or change your clothes? [He was going to guess that she couldn't.]
no subject
[This is the only formal wear she has, besides the burial kimono. And that... Yeah.]
no subject
[Of course there is a hint of black humor in his voice.]
