Characters: Saki Konishi and you!
Setting: Floor 54, the doll shop room
Format: Starting in brackets, but I can do prose
Summary: Saki hates her job. She's creeped out by the dolls, and she wants to be anywhere but here.
Warnings: Creepy dolls!
[Resenting your job, even hating it, is normal. Being creeped out? ...Depends on your job. Taking care of dolls in a horrortower is definitely one of them, so the current person in charge of keeping everything neat and tidy? She's very obviously uncomfortable as she wipes down stands and positions dolls to look enticing. (Though why anyone would want them is beyond her.)
But hey, it's something to do, she supposes. And there are worse things that could be happening.]

[She seems almost relieved to find someone poke their head in It means a distraction.]

[...Though she doesn't seem too pleased with it.]

[It could be worse, but taking care of dolls seems both boring and creepy at the same time.]
I'm Riku.

[No more dying, pls.]
Nice to meet you, Riku.

Cautiously lowering his sword, he walks further inside and browse. The dolls do look nice, but his teddy bear was bad enough to have around in his dorm room.
...?
It seems like there's someone already here. He cautiously peeks over, seeing a girl setting up the dolls and cleaning the stands. From his position, it's hard for him to see her collar.
But if he dare to guess, she's most likely a fellow resident like himself.
Saki might feel someone watching her]

[She does indeed feel someone watching her, and for a moment, she thinks it's the dolls. Who know with the Tower. But he's right, she's a resident, with an orange collar.]

[Minato step out and a little closer. If Saki turns around, she would see a young man with a blue collar.]
...I'm sorry for watching.
no subject
It's all right. I was worried the dolls were watching me.

I'm not that familiar with them...are they alive?
[Judging from how she tidy up that area, this girl probably knows a little more than him.]
no subject
[In fact, she's going to shift away from the dolls now that she has someone to talk to.]
no subject
[With another person to talk to, Minato can ignore the dolls better. Their conversation was about them, but he didn't need to look at them at the moment.]
no subject
[Yeah, same on her end. She doesn't have to look at them, or even really think too much about her job, like this.]
Oh. I'm Saki. Saki Konishi.
no subject
I'm Minato Arisato. It's nice to meet you, Konishi-san.
no subject
[UGH she wants to leave but that means... Possibly incurring the wrath of the dolls...]

[The meadow floor is a favourite of his, unless Saki have a preferred floor to go to.]

Of course, he already has a doll of another sort on his shoulder as is: Emily! So Break did not really mind being assigned this job, and although part of him found it somewhat distastefully ironic, he was over it quickly and unlikely to show this, instead opting to see the hilarity and amusement in it as he did his job. Sometimes he would move about in the silliest of ways, stacking things on his hand, wobbling about with his floppy sleeves and such, and it could really be quite entertaining, as he's reminiscient of a clown and a magician sometimes.
And as Saki is his new co-worker, although this man with his lone red eye and pale white hair and odd Victorian-ish clothing is just as creepy for some reason you can't quite place, he is still nice enough, when they are done, to offer the other a piece of candy from a tin he has, taken out from the little square bag around his person. ]
What a peaceful job this is! One cannot help thinking we got off quite luckily. But you have been rather quiet, my dear... could it be the atmosphere? We may as well be friends. It won't do us any good to be working here and ignoring one another, don't you think?

Sorry, there's just... Not much to talk about.
[Especially now that she's done dusting. She's probably very boring compared to him, a normal girl with a cutlass tied to her side. Only line of defense ever, and she doesn't really know how to use it.
She will take the candy, though, and turn it over in her hands a few times because she's trying to figure out what kind it is--if she can even recognize it. Nothing against him, just curiosity, actually. She figures if she dies from this, poison is better than a billion other things.]

Such a nonsense answer, but I suppose that makes it nonsense that's sensible, so perhaps it is more sensible-sense? But that is boring! There is quite a bit to talk about. Yourself, this place, your favorite tea, a book, how you would feel if you were eaten by a large monster here... any number of things!
[ ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER... ]
Besides which, we have not had the fortune to meet before this lovely little duty of ours, and that seems quite a shame to me.

I'm... I'm Saki Konishi. It's nice to meet you, Mister...?
[That's about all she can answer right now.]

Xerxes Break. You may simply call me "Break" if you have trouble with my name--
[ Pronounced "Zākushīzu Bureiku" for you, Saki, since you're Japanese. ]
Working with so many dolls, I'm going to feel jealous!
... And this little one is Emily. It is a pleasure, Miss Ko-ni-shi! Not to worry, I am sure we will be well-acquainted in time; it is better to have a duty than to be aimless, is it not?
[ The doll. On his shoulder. Did it just talk. And click. ... Yes it did. OK then. But it's not giving off the same kinda vibe the others in the room are, so... ]

The last time he was in a creepy place with dolls, they had come to life to attack him out of sadistic pleasure of the Toy Maker, a horrible being who called Dracula's castle home.
Saki will probably feel like she's being watched for a moment before she hears footsteps behind her.]
Disturbing things.

But she seems uncomfortable so he supposed he can try and give her company.]
You get stuck with this shitty job? [He'd hate if that happened to him.]
