Summary: Thorin meets Haldir on Floor Thirty Two during a hunting trip. Dwarf meets elf.

Thorin sat by the fire with his kill roasting over the fire. He had been lucky in catching a deer and managing to find his prey in good time. It had been a few weeks since he had first come to the tower now. Settling in had been tough but he had found this floor. It suited him. The outdoors and away from the modern elevators and constant staircases. He couldn't stand behind cooped up inside the tower, so he came here to relax and hunt. He knew he was still inside the tower but this was outside at least.

Getting up, Thorin walked over to a group of mushrooms close by. They were being shaded by a large tree, the soil being moist and dark. Perfect for mushrooms. He picked them and placed them in his pack before noticing a movement behind him. His instincts were never wrong as he felt a pair of eyes watching him. Not turning around, he stood still and narrowed his eyes.

Thorin turned around and spotted the pair of eyes watching him from above. A elf? Nay, it was not Legolas, but another elf. This one seemed intent on spying on him. How dare he. "Come down at once, elf. Explain yourself on why you were spying on me." Thorin growled slightly as he rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. His anger ready to burst forth any moment.
