Summary: Jonouchi spends a good majority of his time in the media room, so it's only a matter of time he makes friends there. Yay Chihiro!

Jonouchi, like some of the people here, didn't bother with the elevator. It gave him the chills, so he traveled by stairs to get where he was going. The blonde eventually made it to the Media room, his favorite room, and the one he spent most of his time in. It was among one of the safest so far and the only monsters he had to deal with were the ones in the games and movies.

It got a little boring, playing by his lonesome all the time. Jonouchi didn't know how accustomed he was to having a playmate until they were gone. When he saw there was another person in the media room, naturally he wanted to approach them to hopefully challenge them to a game or perhaps even join them in a two player co-op.

"Hey!" He called, in a welcoming voice. "Wanna play a game?" ~~Not a shadow game, I promise.~~

Chihiro (who was of course dressed as a girl like always, and looked and sounded every bit like a girl) looked up from his laptop which almost never left his side. He glanced around then back at Jonouchi to make sure he was indeed speaking to him. He didn't recognize the person before him but he seemed like a good person?

"Uh... hello." Then there was a little pause. None of the games were dangerous here so surely that would be alright. He smiled. "Sure. What do you want to play?"

Jonouchi is completely convinced that who he is talking to is female, and doesn't suspect otherwise. Gender was of little importance anyway when it came to the company of others and friend making. The question of what to to play was a good one, nothing was quite like back home but he found decent substitutes he could call his favorites.The blonde eagerly pointed toward a different spot in the room, it was an Animus Playstation equivalent.

"That over there!" As to which game, well, they might go through a few; Jonouchi played just about everything. "Up for the challenge?"

Chihiro looked over at the familiar looking game console and nodded. "Alright!" His gaming skills might not be Super High School Level but he did play his fair share of video games and was rather good at that.

"AWRIGHT!" Exactly what he wanted to hear! Without skipping a beat, the blonde approached the system. He ejected the disk to see what was in it and decided it was good enough to play for them. Having done that he powered on everything for them to use and when the other finally makes it around Jonouchi would pass a controller to him.

"Are you good at beat 'em ups?"

The smaller boy followed him and reached out for the controller.

"Beat 'em ups? I do alright with them I guess. Do you play them often?"

He set down and waited for the game to start up.

"Most of the time." RPGs involved a lot of tactics, and adventure was pretty high on his list, but beat 'em ups, and racing games were most common among his arcades.

"We can do two player if you want." Co-op play was also fun, he was competitive, but he also liked a challenge, even if he end up being the losing party.

The start screen loaded for them to select the play option. Everything after it consisted of the opening credits and character selections.

"With friends?" Chihiro might have assisted in creating a few of those games!

"Sure! That would be more fun!" And he was actually glad he suggested co-op as he wasn't really the competitive type.

Chihiro had a quick look at the character stats then made his choice.

And so the magic words were said. Jonouchi helped himself to a combat oriented character with a sword, his favorite, before selecting a map for them to complete.

"Have you played this game before?" The stage was about to start.

Chihiro on the other hand chose a mage type character with long range spells. he shook his head.

"No, I haven't. This one is completely new to me but it shouldn't be too hard to get the hang of."

Cool! His partner picked a spellcaster type. It made combat more efficient with someone dealing extra damage from the back. "These ones are all weird knock-offs of ones I've played before, but it can't be too different." Having said that, the stage started and Jonouchi was quick to have his character advance to the front lines. Enemies already began to line up.

"Ah, yes, that's true! I wonder if they're supposed to be from worlds similar to ours like parallel universes. It's rather interesting really if that's what has happened."

And Chihiro moves his character slightly behind Jonouchi's to act as his support - casting spells, protective shields and healing the both of them.

He didn't know this character had buffer spells either, so that made all the difference. Jonouchi could get rather reckless with his style so if anything, it significantly helped him.

"I think you might be onto something. Have you seen a game like this too?"

Chihiro will watch his back so he can be as reckless as he likes.

"Well, I have seen some games that look and sound rather similar to ones I've played back home and helped develop..."

"Helped developed?!" Oh the distraction nearly got him killed! Jonouchi needed heals!

"Yes, I'm a programmer. Ah!" Chihiro quickly heals him!

"So you can make games like this." Oh how he has lost focus on the game at hand.

He can't help backing away just a bit! You're much too enthusiastic, Jonouchi and it's scaring him!

"Well... m-making games is not the main thing I do but I do assist in the development of them from time to time..."

He totally missed the cue where he's starting to scare the other, but Jonouchi means it in good spirit.

"But you know how this stuff works?"

Chihiro backs away just a little more. He knows. "It's what I do back home. I'm a programmer."
