Falling from cloud nine

Characters: Lenalee Lee
Setting: Floors 1, 2, 4, 6 and the Elevator
Format: Action.
Summary: Yet another new arrival exploring the area.
Warnings: None? Will change if needed.

Floor Six | Forest
[To be perfectly honest Lenalee was not expecting such an expansive forest to be here. Sure it wasn't entirely a surprise to see some sort of greenery in this place as the Facility had several as well. Anyone around will notice her just standing there near the elevator, taking it all in. She doesn't dare move in further at the moment. Do you interrupt her reverie?]

Floor Four | Glass Room
[There in the middle of the room people will find Lenalee standing motionless. Yet again there was no way out for them. Not a visible one. Trapped yet again when they were so close to freedom. If only they could just break free of these prisons... One of her hands is clenched tight at her side and her hair covers most of her face.]

[Anyone nearby might hear her mutter quietly:] It's not fair.

Floor Two | Infirmary
[This floor was useful to know about. Chances are there are bound to be injuries in the future. And speaking of injuries, Lenalee steps off on this floor to find some disinfectant for her own wounds. For those wandering about this floor they will see her tending to some wounds, some of which require bandaging. There's a particularly bad cut down her arm that's she's attempting to disinfect but it looks like she's having a little difficulty with it.]

Floor One | Cafeteria
[Ah, the food area. Lenalee's especially glad to see that there's an actual kitchen in this place. Maybe that means they'll be able to cook and have big group dinners together -- that is, if there's anyone else from her little family here. She doesn't really explore but instead takes a seat at one of the tables. Here is where she said she'd wait for the Inspector and Emilia, and here is where she'll stay. Doesn't mean Lenalee couldn't do with some company while she waits.]

The Elevator
[In the corner of the elevator one will find one teenaged girl wearing a red dress with black leggings and armwarmers. She looks battered, bruised and a bit dirty. Though Lenalee did hastily pull her hair up into a casual ponytail before leaving the room. What might be strange is a fuzzy little yellow Tribble on her shoulder. It's purring but doesn't seem to have a head - or any limbs at all, actually. There's also another thing with her, it's a small, black creature with a giant eye-like center and a pair of wings nestled on top of her head.]

[Curious thing about Lenalee is that she doesn't get off on any of the floors, choosing instead to stay on the elevator and simply peer into them.]

[ Ishtar's carrying a few boxes over to one of the rooms, when she noticed that someone was in there trying to do something. At first she didn't really recognize who it was, but after a few moments, she realized why the figure looked rather familiar.

It was a surprise to her, but they might not even know her at this point. People that came to the tower were people who either had memories or had different memories. She learned that by approaching a few people before, but to start things off, they looked injured so it was her job to help the injured here. ]

Hello, do you need some help?

[ She muffled from one side of the boxes before dropping them down. ]

[Ah, the familiar voice has her looking up when the girl stops by her side. While Lenalee was not expecting to see Ishtar here, it is a huge relief. It meant there were more people she knew from the Facility in this place as well. As nice as it was having Emilia and the Inspector, it was even better to have more. For her, at least.]

[Lenalee doesn't yet know that there are possibly other people here from other universes yet - that the originals are here. So she is definitely mistaking this Ishtar for the one she knows.]

That would be great, Ishtar. Attempting this with one hand is difficult.

[A pause and a bit of a smile.]

I'm glad you made it here.

[The wait for the elevator was already taxing Allen's mental state, tired as it already was. It was getting late, and getting late meant the big monsters came out. He's had one too many close calls with those things already.]

[...yet imagine his surprise when it's you-know-who he sees when they finally do open, his eyes widen as he takes a step back. Tim almost falls off his shoulder.]

Lenalee?

[If there was thing that was both unexpected and hoped for it would be this moment. He'd been one of the many people Lenalee was looking for. Lenalee leaves the corner, moving to the doorway.]

[Instantly she's looking him over, checking to see if he's hurt and she notices that something's off. The thought is brushed aside. Lenalee smiles immediately.]

Allen, you're here!

[For the first time in, well, a long time, relief washed over Allen Walker as he takes a very brief moment to hug her. The doors close as he lets go.]

Heh, you know that's my line, right?

[Tim flew around the outer rims of the elevator several times before hovering, positioning itself just in front of Lenalee's face. It couldn't make any facial expressions that a person could, but it certainly still missed her, too.]

[Allen slumped against the side of the elevator. His face was bruised, somewhat paler than it normally was, yet in complete contrast, his black and red uniform was in almost perfect shape.]

[Smile.] I'm so glad to see you again.

[There was definitely something off but she is glad to see him anyway. Tim as well and she pulls the gold golem into her arms for a hug. She moves to stand next to Allen, a little worried about that bruise - but the feeling was probably returned considering her own state.]

It can't be my line too?

[Yep, light teasing.]

[She's watching him carefully.]

Again? How long have you been here?

[He laughed a bit at the teasing. It was a clear, refreshing feeling before Allen had to say what he had to say.]

Seven months. Er, well, not that I've been counting really. [Allen sighed lightly.] I've already met Link.

[It was then that his sights then cast downwards. Tim didn't seem to replicate this gesture as it tried to keep itself wrapped in Ms. Lee's embrace.]

[Seven months didn't seem like a long time for more people - but Lenalee knows better. Especially if her suspicions of this place are right.]

[And it's then when she realizes - he's real. The real Allen Walker and not a clone like she is. That's what the difference it. And that means that this isn't the one she spent a year with in a torture facility, this isn't the one she started dating.]

[The realization is staggering. Never did she think she'd find herself in this situation. To be looking at the original Allen, one who didn't remember the last year together. It causes her to squeeze Tim a little, but not too much. Her head tilts forward, allowing bits of her hair to cover her face. The tribble on her shoulder has a bit of a calming affect.]

That's a long time. Are you okay?

[Timcanpy offered no resistance. As a matter of fact, its own sense of empathy was more in tune with what sort of apprehension that was gripping her heart than Allen certainly was.]

[His smile holds up, however.] Heh, I've definitely been better. But at least now that appetite-ruining-April is over, I think it's been a little lighter as of late. [Allen scratched a part of his face with one finger.]

There's more than just a lot we need to go over, I think.

[That's because Allen is a giant dunce when it comes to feelings sometimes. And it's not his fault - she knows, but Lenalee can't help but hurt and angry. Mostly at whatever brought her here.]

What happened in April to make you lose your appetite?

[Ah, she knows how this goes...]

What's the last thing you remember? What do I need to know about this place?

[A great feeling of sorrow overcame Allen at that question, and his lip even seemed to quiver.]

By simply being almost nonexistent. They made us eat nothing but little "nutrition" bars and a glass of water every day for every meal. Even the restaurant was closed that month.

[The scene of him jumping up on the table and then shouting angrily at...everything as Sheba just looked on in wonder.]

[He righted himself at the second question.] The last thing I remember before coming here was completing the mission in France and saving Timothy from the Akuma. [His face darkens much further.] Oh yeah, they're here, too.

[ Ishtar didn't expect to see Lenalee here either, so it was pretty much even for both of them. Ishtar was definitely relieved and happy that she saw someone else from Facility. It only made her believe that it's not destroyed. At least, for now. ]

Lenalee?

[ She blinked when the girl used her name. It was safe to assume that Lenalee was from the same place as her. ]

Lenalee...I'm so glad.

[ She fighting back a few tears, because it was a huge relief to see anyone she knew here, anyone. It didn't matter if they were friends or acquaintances. Even if they hardly were spoke, it was still a big relief. ]

Let me heal them?

[ walked over to sit next to Lenalee. ]

[She frowns at that. Lenalee never had to really experience eating the Facility's nutrition bars but they were getting close to needing to at the end. A few even ended tucked into her bag when she prepared for the crash landing.]

Sounds terrible. As long as the Inspector and I are here - and as long as we're allowed in the kitchen, we'll cook meals for all of us.

[It was a thing they did and she didn't think this place would change it much.]

[And as for that - it was further back then she expected.]

That was a while ago for me.

[Wait.]

[What?]

There are Akuma here?

[While she didn't know why there were tears, she could figure it out. Time always did work funny when the Facility was involved.]

[Lenalee could a comfort hug later, when she wasn't dripping blood on the floor.]

Of course. I'd appreciate it.

[She held out the arm for Ishtar to work with.]

How long have you been here?

[Not just good food was here. In fact, Hei was busying himself by cooking up some more deer meat. The current cafeteria menu didn't offer much in the way of food that appealed to him this month. In fact, it was the one time aside from nutrition bars that he had at the facility. The smell certainly can fill the cafeteria a bit as he fries and finishes cooking each piece of meat, and setting it on a plate.

Disturb?]

Miss, are you all right?

[She attracts attention by being so quiet - at least, Katsuya is trained to look for those in distress.]

[Allen nodded.]

Yes.

[The memory was from maybe more than a month ago yet still he could feel the impact of the bullets. The ones he should've seen coming yet didn't.]

The Tower has monsters that appear inside it, anywhere, and the stronger ones come out at night. [Allen remembers his savior, the dark Saber.] I was out late when it appeared. It was the same yet different than the ones we fought, but it was still an Akuma either way, a level four.

[Disturb. Mostly because Lenalee's wondering what he's cooking up. Meat was not something they had at the Facility -- not even the freeze dried stuff there at the end. So she meanders over looking pretty calm for a new face.]

What are you making?

[A voice. And an unfamiliar one. She looks up at the other person in the room and smiles a little - a poor attempt.]

I'm okay.

[She listens because as far as she knows there's only two Exorcists in the Tower who can properly deal with Akuma. Definitely something she needs to pass along to Link and Emilia if it hasn't already.]

So it's not just Akuma then. There are other kinds of monsters too?

[One of her arms reaches out so she can grab the sleeve of his coat.]

If more Akuma show up, call me and I'll come help, okay?

Is there any way I can assist you...?

[No seriously.]

I just...

[She can't find the ability to express herself for a moment so she steps back to sit on one of the sofas.]

It's surprising. Seeing that there's nothing out there.

It can be difficult, getting used to the idea. I'm still not used to it myself.

I thought maybe there'd be some way out.

[Since they weren't in space anymore. She thought that maybe there was a chance they could be free when they crashed on that planet.]

We haven't found one yet, and I've been here a number of months.
