these truths are not gated
Characters: [OU] Alphonse Elric and YOU?
Setting: Room 1-08, and then exploring the tower. Just mention where you are in your subject or tag!
Format: I'll mimic you.
Summary: Al wakes up in the Tower, and wonders what the fudgsicle is going on.
Warnings: Copious amounts of puppy dog faces? welkrj idk, none on Al's end! Will edit if anything happens.
As soon as the sleep paralysis had worn off, Alphonse was sitting bolt upright in his bed with a start, breathing hard and fast--
...
Where...?
Disoriented, his eyes quickly seek out his surroundings, but... he doesn't recognize anything. Not a single thing, and when he turns his head, he finds something odd and vaguely tight around his neck. Fingers lift to investigate, and...
A choker? Some kind of collar or tubing? He's even more perplexed and bewildered, simply confused and at odds as he almost numbly finds his feet with caution. Had someone kidnapped him...? But he doesn't remember anything unusual before he had fallen asleep, and... aside from the addition to his anatomy, he doesn't appear to be injured.
When he tests it, he finds the door isn't locked, either. (He's completely missed that handy little note, hasn't he?)
Al is wary and on his guard, uneasy -- concerned as he carefully pokes his head out of the door and into the corridor. This is all so strange... what exactly is going on here? It looks like it might take a little exploration before he can find out...

I'm sorry to bother you, but no one else seems to want to speak with me...
Could you tell me where we are?
no subject
You are in a tower, chico. Who brought you here, I don't know.
no subject
Were you taken from home, too?

I'm sorry, miss...
[he wonders if she has family, or someone who would be worried about her; his own thoughts return to Ed, and not for the first time since waking up in this predicament.]
Has anyone taken responsibility for this?
no subject
We have heard from what appeared to be our captors, interacted with them even, and yet, they say nothing about our purpose here, aside from our worlds being destroyed.
no subject
What-- do you mean, our 'worlds being destroyed?'
[was he supposed to read that note oh oops]
no subject
[ She is getting weary of explaining everything over and over again, and her suspicions about him being one of the spies for the higher ups is rising again. ]
no subject
[incredulity takes over his expression, and the rise in her own wariness goes by him, for now.]
How could an entire world be destroyed except for this one tower?!

[indignant! there's no way any of this is right, and he wants to get at them for serious answers.]
no subject
They treat us like animals. Collared and locked up in a tower. What rights do you think they give us?

[if they banded together, or... hm. there had to be some reason they were here...]

he hesitates just a moment more, before taking a step backward.]
I'm sorry for disturbing you, miss.
[maybe... he can find more information elsewhere... ;/]

[he looks a little firmer.]
For what it's worth, I won't let them get away with this. We'll get out of here and back home, miss.
no subject
I'll hold you to your word, chico.
no subject
I never break it, and I don't plan to start now.

[he means it!!]
Thank you again for taking time to answer my questions, miss.

[ She didn't give him anything other that what she knows of the tower, so that should be alright... ]
