Farewell to May/Hello to June
Characters: Enoch, "Pandora", and anyone!
Setting: May 31 leading into June 1, Cafeteria for the former and dorm hallways for the latter.
Format: I'll take the best you have.
Summary: End of the month shenanigans!
Warnings: Um...someone may get drunk in the first prompt?
Cafeteria(F1): May 31, Dinner Hours
The first thing Enoch does when dinner begins to be served is grab all the wine he can with his food. He can be found later in the hour with a completely empty wine bottle in front of him, drinking the last glass it yielded. There are three more, unopened. Judging from the array of untouched glasses, he's intending to share.
Dormitory Floor 3: May 31 into June 1 (Will have a thread for the team protag/Pandora gathering, otherwise open)
The other bottles wound up shared with those that joined him in the cafeteria, so he didn't get to find out just how inebriated he could get on four bottles of wine. The contents of a single bottle and then some have sedated him; he went to bed almost immediately after dinner hours ended.
His deep sleep is cut short by the screeching of the chip by his bed. Enoch tumbles out of bed, grabbing his Arch and summoning his armor on instinct. When it registers that the chips are doing something, out into the halls he goes.
Just in time for the lights to go out. He keeps his Arch open, a distinctly-shaped blue light marking where he is as he peers curiously at the static on the nearest terminal monitor.
June 1, moment of glamour failure
Glamour systems shutting down in five, four, three, two, one, zero.
The Arch's beam flickers out. His armor vanishes. His eyes immediately travel to the Arch...and to the hand holding it.
The first sound he makes is a startled yelp as he drops the weapon, or the film construct making up its base. Slowly, though, he bends down to retrieve it, unfamiliar blue-filled hand closing around an unfamiliar object. His other hand, he slowly examines, opening and closing it. He then looks down at himself, at himself, at the glow of his soul coming from beneath the catsuit.
A little sigh, and then a breathless little laugh come from him, and he reaches up to run fingers through his hair - on feeling it, he pulls a strand of the film forward to look at it. And then laughs again, weaker.
"When I first realized they had only brought our souls here, I realized that, in fact, our hosts had shown us hospitality after all." Who is he speaking to? Who knows. "I thought it was truly generous of them, if they could only save our souls, to give us bodies that appeared and behaved as we expected."
The next laugh is barely a huff, and he inclines his head. "How right I was..."

It feels...ominous.

[..Tohko, Enoch has no idea what those would be..]

What is a poltergeist?

The word means 'noisy ghost', but it's pretty much any ghost that smashes cups, moves things around, loudly taps on the walls, or bothers people. They've even been known to attack people by pulling on their hair or pinching them..and some have even thrown objects at people, and a famous poltergeist, the Bell Witch, even managed to poison and kill a man.
Normally I would say that those would just be fantastical in my universe..[Something that she only said to direct people from the fact that she was terrified of them.]..but here, it seems possible that they could show up.

*Something had to draw her to that specifically, he thought. That and he was trying to distract himself from that uneasy feeling this whole thing gave him.*

*Which means that it's not poltergeists - this is from them, not the administrators.*

[Thank god. Tohko was terrified of poltergeists, even if she didn't let it on.]

*And they don't really have substantial bodies to knock things over.*

*He has to wonder why she's so fixated on ghosts, here.*

Maybe..or maybe not. They can be good at hiding themselves.

That's true! Which is a good thing too..we don't have any salt to counter them. But..since they don't have anything to do with this, I'm sure we'll be fine, no matter what else does pop out.
