Characters: The Ponds Amy Pond and Rory Williams, and YOU.
Setting: In the hallway
Format: Slight preference for brackets, but really, whichever suits you.
Warnings: Possible spoilers
[ Amy's just woken up in a strange place only to find a letter that her world has been destroyed. To say that she is a little annoyed would be an understatement. Her world. The earth. She might have lost a lot of the childish faith she once had in the Doctor, but there is no way he would have let the Earth be destroyed without doing something about it. So here she is, letters in hand and a frown on her face, marching down the hallway. ] Rory. You better be here. [ Louder. ] Rory. Doctor. Doctor.
[At which point, Rory looks carefully out into the hallway, sees Amy, and calls out.] Hey! Amy! [He steps into the hallway and waves, already walking toward her.] Over here, hi. [He's travelled with the Doctor for long enough to already be completely suspicious of this entire set-up, but at least the morally dubious aliens running this place were good enough to send his wife here as well as himself. Or keep them together, at least. He's not certain Amy's better off here but he can't help but be glad they're together.]
Rory. [ The relief is written over Amy's face as she rushes over to Rory and hugs him, before holding up the letters, waving them in front of his nose. ] Have you read these? Like that'd ever happen. Like the Doctor'd ever let it. So, we've been kidnapped, yeah?
[A hug then, ah, yes, straight to business.] Yep. Looks like it. Usual slightly ominous building sort. Slightly less usual than big white building kidnaps but you know. Still to script.
I don't like it. Maybe this is some sort of alternative universe thing. We've not done anything to warrant kidnapping, have we? Must have something to do with the Doctor. 't always does. [ She looks around, studying her surrounding, before turning back to Rory and lightly hitting him in the shoulder, grinning now. ] Hey, at least you're not dead.
[Rory raises both hands to gesture with them, smiling ruefully.] Yet.

Melody. My baby.
[ That's something Amy will never forget, not watching her baby grow up. ] We're from your future. Actually, really really from your future. Does that mean I get to say 'spoilers' now?
[ Okay, look, this is a lot to take in and you've just died, except you haven't, but she saw you die. So have another hug. A kind of group hug, really. She's laughing, but she might well be crying. ]

[Whoa, okay, The Doctor's alright with hugs, but tears are banned.]
...I'm guessing the spoilers aren't the "and we lived happily ever after" sort.

Right, okay. We're in a tower, probably in an alternate universe, maybe a pocket dimension. I can't really tell because my gorgeous, sexy TARDIS is gone, and my screwdriver refuses to analyze the surroundings, stupid thing.
Here is The Tower. It's dangerous. More dangerous than I first gave it credit for. The people who've put us here claim to have rescued us from our world--that was supposedly destroyed, as if. You're from my future so that only proves there was no world destroying involved, which is good! Very good. Great, even. The best of news.
But there's a problem. A bad news problem.
We're lab rats. Experiments. I'm sure of it now, sorry to say.
--Not to worry, though. We're going to escape and bring everyone with us. Not sure how, but it's going to happen. I promise. I will not fail you, or anyone else.
[Because the Doctor is back in action! Emo and angst please stay in that corner over there. The Doctor has better things to do now.]

How long've you been here, then, anyhow? [ Long enough to miss them. Long enough to have figured out that everyone is a lab rat.
And she wants to believe the Doctor, badly, when he says that he'll save them all. She does believe that he'll do whatever he can, his best, which is a lot, but she's let go of the blind faith. ] We'll get out of here. [ Together. They'd work on it together. ]

Nooooooot too long. [Dismissive wave. You don't need to know.]
I've been thinking about doing some experiments of my own, actually. Experiments of the explosive variety.
And then there's the possibility that if I request separate pieces of the TARDIS...

And well, they might not, but it's a worth a shot.
They gave me a fez, so...TARDIS bits. It could happen.
