Setting In front of the bathrooms.
Format: Actionspam because I'm lazy.
Summary: Maya gets killed and she needs to talk to a prosecutor about it because apparently she doesn't want to talk about her deaths with Nick.
Warnings: Possible gory descriptions? But that's all.

[ Even though she's slightly confused as to why Edgeworth asked to meet her in front of the restrooms, she won't hesitate to do so. She's alive - for now - and she kind of wants to talk her problems out with someone. Sure, she's putting on a bravado in front of everyone, but somebody... at least one single person must know.

She doesn't want to keep this a secret from everybody.

Otherwise, it would eat at her until she died again. So here she is, waiting. Though she's wearing something a little different from her normal acolyte outfit; if only because it's easier to walk in and it's the only other outfit that she has. ]

[Having discussions with Maya in one of the single sex bathrooms was going to be extremely awkward and uncomfortable. However, it was the only place they could meet without the administrators listening in, so the prosecutor felt that he had little choice.

Edgeworth, meanwhile, had his own set of issues - mostly to do with the whole "everything is fake" scenario. However, other revelations had given him hope to cling onto - a hope that uncovering the whole truth of the tower was perhaps not impossible after all.

He was not sure why Maya wanted to see him, but from the tone of her message, it did seem quite urgent and so he did not want to take any risks by letting it out.

Edgeworth arrives a few minutes after Maya does. His eyes widen when he spots the girl's, er.....interesting outfit.]

What on earth are you wearing?! [SRSLY DON'T MAKE THEIR MEETING MORE AWKWARD THAN IT ALREADY IS. D:]

It's a maid uniform from Trés Bien. I was planning on just changing my shoes because of what happened yesterday, but it wouldn't go well with the acolyte uniform, so... ta-da!

[ She giggles slightly as she scratches the back of her head. Sorry, Edgeworth, she's just trying to lighten the mood before they get down to business and talk about horrible things. ]

Trés Bien? That was not the one.......that Gumshoe took us to, was it? [After Iris' acquittal? Because that was a hideous place.]

Why do you have one of their uniforms?

[mayatama]

It was.

[ Maybe Maya's lucky that she and Nick skipped out on that... ]

Well, we were on a case and I kind of worked for them for a bit, actually!

[frilliance]

[The next time that sort of thing happens, Edgeworth is taking them to a more 'decent' (as in high-class and fabulously expensive) restaurant. He'll even happily pay the bill instead of Phoenix!]

You.....worked with them? As part of the case....? [He might have a word with Phoenix about that. :/]

Well, they weren't getting any customers!

[ Though that's not the point, honestly. She won't say much about it, unless asked. It's all in the past, so there's no need to worry about it... much. ]

Yes, well, having been there myself, I cannot say that surprises me one bit.

Still, I'll have to have a word with Wright about it later. [As in tell him off. :/]

Now, you wanted to talk to me, correct? [Now comes another awkward bit.....] If it's something important, then.....how do I word this?

[He clears his throat and speaks in a low voice.] Let's say....if word gets out then they will look for anything with mirrors. [As in: the bathrooms are the only safe place to talk.]

It's definitely important. And... you can't tell Nick about any of this.

I......can't? [But.....why?]

Maya, if this is to do with uncovering the truth, then I think that Wright has the right to know. [NO PUN INTENDED.]
