Conversations and unfinished buisness [closed]
Characters: Nesir and Hidetoshi then Nesir and Sephiroth
Setting: Library and then Unpowered forest- 14th June lunch time then late afternoon
Format: Prose to start can switch
Summary: Nesir and Hidetoshi have a conversation that really doesn't go very well and then she and Sephiroth fight to the death
Warnings: The first prompt will contain ethical conversations, dubious morals and fall outs. The second will be violent, angry and result in death.
[For Hidetoshi] Nesir was exhausted but she had coped on less sleep before. Her nights had been filled with fighting, monsters which could control them with one bite. Monsters which were apparently some of those in the tower.
Another way they controlled them. She chuckled darkly as she turned a page in her book. She didn't even know why she was in the library, it wasn't like there was going to be any answers, there were never any answers and Nesir was getting sick of being powerless.
She was wearing her white tower given suit and the cloak Chidori had made her, which she drew around her as she threw the book heavily across the room. She didn't even care if Tohko came and shouted at her, she had her daggers, the interfering librarian would regret it.
[For Sephiroth] Well after that lovely and enlightening conversation Nesir was ready to destroy everything. To scream and kill and make things bleed.
She wasn't really feeling up to losing the remainder of her allies and so instead she tracked down Sephiroth, not after stealing the tree she had made for him back and attaching a small long haired figure she had made to it, by the neck.
She then tracked Sephiroth down and practically threw it at him. "Floor 32, you do be having until sunset, you will be being there."
She waited in the forest, knives ready, eyes blazing. Past any level of calming. He would pay for what he had done, what he had made her do, ruining her mission and making her fail.

She shrugged.

"It's an ill-thought out option. If a couple of your fingers were broken or dislocated, Nesir-san, would the correct course of action be to promptly cut off your hand?" It's a morbid anthology but it's the one of the first ones that come to mind after months in the Tower.

"You did never be asking about this. Most people do be assuming I did be losing them in some knife fight, or because I did be being stupid and annoying the wrong person."
She shook her head, "I did be getting snow sickness, my fingers did be going black and dying, if they had no been cutting them off then I could have been losing my hand, or my arm or my life. So yes I would be cutting off the weak parts of my body, because they can be affecting the rest."

He was aware forming a relationship with somebody else was asking to be hurt. But Minato had shown him why it was worth that, and he wasn't inclined to forget that.
Hidetoshi took a deep breath and reminded himself to not say anything he would regret later on. He was angry and knew he should probably end the conversation soon before too much damage was wrought. "Allow me to repeat myself. Will you die of one or two broken fingers, Nesir-san?"

She glared at him, folding her arms again.

He rests his hand on his hips, looking at her just as intently.

Missing limbs do be growing back all the time here.

There's a moment of silence.
Then Hidetoshi sighed. "I believe our conversation has reached an impasse in that you are unwilling to see my point, and I don't understand yours."

After a long moment, he grimaces and rubs his forehead.
With a sigh, he bends down to pick up the book off the floor and return it to its proper place on the shelves. And since she left without cleaning up her table, he removes the books from there and slots them back into the correct shelves, too.
