Regrets [OPEN]

Characters: Dawn and anyone!
Setting: Floor Four.
Format: Either is fine.
Summary: Dawn is trying to retain some sense of normalcy.. but failing horribly.
Warnings: Imminent crying, probably.

Dawn likes the fourth floor. It's therapeutic, almost, to stare out the windows. It makes her realize that maybe she'll get out of this tower one day. Maybe she'll be able to explore the land below. Maybe her world is still there, and whoever wrote the letter was lying just to mess with her. Maybe.. this was all a dream. ... No. To think that would be foolish. Dawn wasn't in denial. She'd come to terms with it rather quickly. After all, moping never helped anyone, did it?

She sat on a couch, close to one of the walls. She was wearing her normal clothing. She refused to wear the out white outfit. She didn't even want to look at it... In her lap sat her Shaymin, who looks up at her and whines occasionally. All Dawn does is smile faintly down at it, rubbing it's back. Why me? She thought. Part of her regretted being such an adrenaline junkie. Maybe she should have stayed with her mother more often... She missed her mom so, so much. She could only think that this was what she got for always wanting for more. How selfish of her..

Canada was equally fond of the fourth floor, though she tried not to stay. Looking out in the clouds searching for a landmark was an easy way to waste hours. She settled on a couch near Dawn, her polar bear climbing up in her own lap.

"Doesn't look like there's anything out there does it?"

"It seems pretty empty. The fog has been here for days after all...Does it ever go away.."

"We may never know if the fog doesn't clear. It's unnatural. Fog shouldn't just stick around in one spot for days...right?"

"We don't really have such problems where I'm from. But it does seem sort of ominous..."
