Summary: Edgeworth is worried about his friend and wants to make sure he's okay

[While Maya’s disappearance had affected Edgeworth more than he admitted or even realised, he tried to not to let it get to him. Whatever happened to Maya, Edgeworth felt that he had to keep going and stay strong – especially for one certain person.

How was Phoenix Wright handling things? Edgeworth was not sure. Unlike the Phoenix in his own timeline, whose thoughts and actions were quite laughably predictable, this Phoenix was incredibly hard to read. He did not seem to be bothered by….well, almost anything. However, Maya was the former attorney’s assistant. Phoenix knew her much more than Edgeworth himself did.

Therefore, the prosecutor thought it fit to invite his childhood friend to the cafeteria for a quick drink.

Unfortnately, there was no tea this month. On the other hand, the ‘tea’ and ‘food’ everyone had been eating had been water, oatmeal and nutrition bars in reality. Sure, they did not taste like oatmeal, nutrition bars or water but it was still a terrifying thought. The water, at least, Edgeworth knows is real.

Your childhood buddy can be found in one far corner of the cafeteria, Phoenix The quiet corner where the loners go to be wallflowers or something, with his glass of water and a bunch of Diarmuid and Arturia’s floor guides that he has been copying out, since more people have arrived in the tower. ]
