[Way. Too amused. But, in all seriousness:] Darkness is useful, but that usefulness ends quickly when it's one of the only tricks up your sleeve. It can only do so much. If you're going to play double-agent, having a diverse skill-set will come in handy if everything goes south.

[Because being able to heal, set magical mines, cause earthquakes... very handy when trying to slow down pursuers and get out of a situation alive.]
