At least I can protect someone else...

Characters: Edgeworth, Diarmuid and Phoenix.
Setting: Dorm 4-16
Format: Felt like starting prose this time for a change but I'll match.
Summary: Phoenix needs to learn how to fight.
Warnings: None yet.

Despite Maya’s disappearance, Edgeworth still kept going with his training lessons. Sure, it was still hard to adjust to the fact that she was gone and he felt helpless for preventing it but getting upset would not bring her back, whether she was alive or dead.

Besides, there was one person at home whom he still had to protect.

Once again, the prosecutor had arranged a meeting with Diarmuid in Room 4-16 to discuss training lessons – this time, they were for Phoenix Wright. Edgeworth, needless to say, was the in the room bang on time.

He was standing against the wall, doing something extremely important and productive while waiting…

Fiddling with the arms and spear of his Steel Samurai doll. He did not notice when Diarmuid and Phoenix entered the room...

Hopefully me posting first is okay?

[When Maya had left the Tower, there had been part of Diarmuid that had been worried that Edgeworth might stop training because of how much it reminded him of her. While his roommate isn't one to show his feelings very easily, it is obvious--sometimes--that they are there. That is why he is excited when he receives Edgeworth's request to meet with him and one of his friends in their room to again discuss training.

He's not sure exactly what he is expecting when he walks into the room, but what he sees is certainly not it.]

Edgeworth...

[Diarmuid can't help it. A small smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth.]

Are you playing with a doll?
