[when the paralysis wears off she almost lurches out of bed, utterly confused and alarmed. This isn't her house. This isn't her family's house. Kidnapping-?

Residents of room 1-07 will be met with the loud thunk of Aoi falling off the bedside and scrabbling upright, evidently panicked; help a poor lady out?]

Dormitory Corridors
[having recovered somewhat from the initial... shock... Aoi is mostly wandering; venturing through the dormitory floors, warily avoiding the network terminals and generally trying to stay out of everyone's way whilst she fully comes to terms with all this...]

[she steps back. It's instinctive; it's like it's not the Kariya she knows. Their last conversation was just a few hours ago what he could he possibly be talking about-


...And with a jolt, she realises his arm is missing.]

Kariya.

[for once, her voice has a hint of warning. And of fear.]

[Kariya stops when Aoi steps away from him. He feels--taken aback by her reaction, but mainly worried about her, so he doesn't advance further. He's still glad to see her. He's been so worried about her.]

I'm sorry. I didn't mean--to frighten you.

But yes, it's really me. People come here from different times, so--

[Has she not seen him like this before? The last time he'd seen her, he was already in his state, and he thinks she'd be more surprised, if it were entirely new to her.]

They pull people from different worlds, and different times. [It's confusing, to say the least.] I can't explain it. It's--some kind of magic, or science.

Yes, there are other people here. There's--

Rin, of course. Rin is here. But she's older. [And different, he thinks, but he's not sure how to explain that, and really, she's the same inside. That's what he thinks.]

There are Servants, too, but since there's no War here, you don't have to worry about them. They're mostly very kind. There are a lot of people here. Hundreds, maybe.

[Kariya is bad at estimating. His movements are limited, so he doesn't have a good idea of who else is in the Tower.]

What about Sakura? Tokiomi?

[Kariya frowns. Both because Sakura's gone, and because he still doesn't like to think about Tokiomi, not that he's going to say anything about that.]

But there are a lot of kind people, who are willing to help others. It's important for us to stick together here.

I don't believe what they say, not for a minute. I know everyone back home is going to be all right. They have to be.

Why should we believe them? They can't be trusted. They want to make us weaker, so we don't fight back. We have to keep fighting, no matter what.
