Summary: Spyro wakes up and is just a bit confused.

A. [In room 2-02.]

[Spyro's woken up, and once the paralysis wears off, he's definitely going to freak out a bit. Not being able to move when you wake up sucks, bro. But with freaking out comes realization; mainly he should stop freaking the fuck out and figure out what happened by investigating. That includes checking out the trunk and everything around it, and eventually finding the note nearby. He holds it to the table with a set of his claws, reading it with an eyebrow raised.]

... Wait; which world?

[Coming from a universe filled with multiple worlds is confusing.]

B. [Around the halls.]

[And now the dragon's exploring, trying to make sense of things. Where is he? And where the hell is Sparx? :| He kinda needs the little guy around, after all. Not to mention he's Spyro's best friend.
Should anyone run into him, his first question is definitely going to be:]

Ah, hey; you seen a little dragonfly around? 'Bout this big, golden yellow, great conversationalist..?

"A meta-human, huh?" Spyro takes a pause there; mostly to think things over. "Sounds pretty cool."

He'll just be seating himself in front of the other then, curling his tail around his flanks and folding his wings back in. "So we've all been kinda kidnapped, huh? Well; 'saved', I guess. Since that's what that weird letter said and all."

Fawkes is not sure how to take being considered 'cool' at first, but as it's a positive thing, he will just roll with it.

"That is what our keepers say, but I am finding this place...perplexing to say the least. They seem to show concern by taking care of our needs and listening to some suggestions, but yet terrible things continue to happen to people here. It is...distressing."

"What kind of terrible things? All I've seen that's terrible is that gross looking white wash they've got goin' everywhere. Everything's so fake in here, it's weird."

He's rather used to living out in a grassland and sleeping on the sides of hills and in the sands of beaches, after all. The tower's definitely the weirdest place he's been.

There was low grunt as Fawkes rubbed his chin. "When I woke up, there was a power outage going on. I did not encounter them myself, but according to others, there were strange apparitions about that attacked people. And recently..." His expression falls, something more angry in appearance. "Our keepers have taken to experimenting on a select few of our number."

"Experimenting? Like, with science and professors and stuff?" He doesn't sound fond of that. Even though the Professor back home seems pretty attached to science and the like, he at least made sure his experiments were safe before using them on others...

Fawkes nods. "I would assume so - they formed unwanted procedures on denizens of this place. One fellow I know had his head essentially...hollowed out, but somehow can still speak." The big green mutant looks rather unnerved by this - that's saying something.

"Oh, gross." He can't help shuddering at that a bit; that's definitely not an image he wanted. "And they just do this to whoever? Like they own us or something? 'Cause that's way past not right."

He thinks that's gross, Spyro should see some of the guys that didn't survive the process that made Fawkes here.

There's a ponderous grunt. "This seems to be the first instance of it since I have been here - but going by the reactions, it's the first instance, period." Fawkes then nods. "I do agree with you though - it is not right."
