Floor 48

[Wriggle isn't normally one to hang around the graveyard but today it seems like she won't budge. She sits by a gravestone, curled up with her forehead resting on her knees. Tightly held in her hand is a green hat. Even though it looks like she doesn't want to be bothered it might do her some good]

Floor 32

[The next day Wriggle is a lot more active and is enthusiastically carrying on with her training. Maybe a little too enthusiastically. She's practicing punching and kicking against the tree trunks but she's clearly exhausted. Her knuckles are bleeding and the bandage around her leg is scuffed and fraying. That doesn't seem to stop her though, and she keeps attacking with whatever energy she has left.

Maybe it would be best to take a break...]

[When it was phrased like that, Wriggle felt a little better. She was good at doing her own thing and going her own way but a lot of the time she felt at conflict with others. If she could help everyone and help herself in her own way, she would be happy]

Mm... Yeah, I want to help people the way only I can.

That's what Meiling would have wanted.

[And a small smile creeps onto her face]

[And Tohko would just smile and try to pat Wriggle on the head again.]

And I'm sure you'll be able to do it here. Meiling will be really proud of you when you get back and tell her about everything that happened after she left.

Do you really think she's back in Gensokyo?

[It was a confusing ordeal, Wriggle could never be sure if her world was really destroyed or not. But the idea that Meiling was back home with her family made her a little more hopeful]

Of course! People who were here get sent back to their destroyed universes when they leave. It's terrible, especially since we know what can happen to them..but that's why we have to work hard.

[wrigurun]

[Well that didn't help at all. Wriggle shrinks back with an almost horrified look on her face]

What can happen...?

[Honestly, it seems more and more like death would be preferable]

[At that, Tohko sighed, and her smile turned into more of a mask than a genuine one. Not that many people would be able to tell.]

Ruana's capable of eating souls that go back home. I'm not saying it'll happen to Meiling..but it might.

[wrigurun]

No!

[She practically leapt to her feet, tears forming in the corners of her eyes again]

I won't let that happen! I won't!

Good.

[While Tohko was smiling, it was a bit of a mask.]

I'm sure it won't happen if we all work hard enough to save them, even if it is in our own ways.

[wrigurun]

[Wriggle just nodded in response, biting on her lower lip to stop from crying again. If that was the severity of the situation then there wasn't time to sit around sobbing to herself. Even if she didn't know what to do she had to do something. She still felt weak]

Y-yeah, I'll do everything I can...

[And with that she stumbled away from the gravestone, only giving it one last glance to solidify her resolve to fight]

[As Wriggle got up and started to wander off, Tohko sighed to herself and stood up. However, she was still smiling as she looked back at Wriggle.]

Good! I'm glad to hear that. If we all work hard, I'm sure we'll be able to save everyone and the universes.

[After all, Saber would be annoyed if she failed, wouldn't she?]
