Format: Any
Summary: Jonouchi is starting to stray from his usual routines, and diving into practices he doesn't usually do. A transition into fully adapting to the tower, or at least as well as one can adapt to such a harsh enviornment.

[Floor 39 | Morning]
Jonouchi didn't always spend his time in the media room. While it did provide for good escapism with all of its devices and games, and various other mediums to indulge it. It could only do so much when you were there all the time. You could say it was starting to lose its luster for him and as each day goes by he would loiter there less and less. As of recently Jonouchi had been spending more of his time on this floor now. The young teen was making his daily laps around the floor, increasing his already improved stamina. He hasn't gotten to the weights yet, but that was next on his list. The blonde came the realization that he didn't want to be dependent upon others, and he also wanted to be more helpful. Knowing he didn't bear any powers, he had to compensate in other ways. This was one of those ways.

Eventually Jonouchi came to a halt after his last lap. He was hunched over with his hands rested on his knees taking in quick breaths influenced by his cardio work out. If you asked him how many laps he did, he wouldn't be able to give an answer. He didn't keep count, but it was far more than he could have ever done back at home.

[Floor 1 | Noon]
After every good work out comes a hearty meal. Not that the cafeteria food was very hearty, but Jonouchi wasn't going to starve himself of food. He had already received some food and was seated at one of the tables scarfing down his food. After such a work out, his serving was nearly finished and he looked like he was ready for seconds!

[Floor 81 | Night]
Jonouchi could actually be found on one of the bulged windows lying down looking up at the sky, stargazing. It was not something he'd normally do, but there were lots of things in this tower that he didn't do that he now found himself doing. It was his way of realizing he had had to accommodate to his situation and how very real it was. The blonde teen was seemingly motionless and detached when he was staring heavily into the sky. It was almost as if he were in another world altogether. Really he was just lost in thought over recent events that had taken place. There was more on his mind than he was letting on, and he didn't want to burden anyone with his trouble thoughts.

Probably. I mean only cowards hide from a battle and use other means. They ain't sure about what they want.

Maybe they shouldn't have taken so many of us.

That's why they ain't here because they took so much of us. They're jus' hidin' cuz they can't handle all of us and using cheap tricks to get what they want.

Should have expected as much. Ringleaders normally don't like to get involved when they know they'll lose.

Yeah cuz they can't play fair, they're hiding.

Say, what do you usually do around here?

The usual, stuff, eat, sleep, play with Eikichi, or train. I mean there ain't much to do aroun' here.

[ so boring compared to his detective life at home! ]

I was readin' some medical books though, ain't sure if studyin' is your thing or not.

Eikichi? [One ping.]

I'm not much of a book guy.

My cat.

[ On cure, a fair sized cat, sort of crawls out from his coat. ]

She's been with me since I got here.

Guess books ain't that fun here. [ Not that he liked them either. They were good pass times. ]

Your cat is here too? They do that?

[Heh!] Nah, they're boring.

She jus' came with me. I woke up and she was in th' trunk.

[ He grins as he cuddles his cat. Yes, he loves that damn thing okay. ]

Well you can play with Eikichi if ya want?

Never played with a cat before. [He never had a pet.]

My friend Honda really loved dogs though.

Well she's just the sweetest thing. Here.

[ He picks up his fluff ball and hands it over to Jou. The cat meows cutely as she was handed over. ]

I ain't much of a dog person, but dogs are pretty damn loyal things.

What am I suppose to do with her?

[How does one go about playing with cats? The blonde held her with confusion.]

Pet her? Have ya ever played with animals before?

[ The cat meows cutely as he looked at her. She then purrs as she starts rubbing against his arm. ]

Meow.....

Not really, but Honda might have.

[Jonouchi observed the cat when it rubbed against him. He...pet it?]

Eh, I guess that ain't surprising. Guys don't usually have pets or somethin' like that.

[ She purred more when he pet her. ]

Eh, they're not that uncommon.

[Jonouchi brought the cat closer so he could hold her more comfortably.]

They do kinda make you feel better?

Well I guess.

[ She purrs and cuddles into him relentlessly. She likes attention a lot. ]

Yeah, since I ain't sure how m'friends will come and go anymore, so Eikichi's all I got when everyone's gone ya know?

[His mood grew a little somber.]

Yeah, I know what you mean.

[ Kuwabara shrugged. He knew that feeling all too well. ]

Yeah so don't go sayin' that I don't understand what you're goin' through cuz I got a clue.

[ C'mon cheer up! Kuwabara tried to lighten the mood. ]
