Osuwari Count 1
Characters: InuYasha & Anyone daring
Setting: Stairway, 48, 17, Cafeteria
Format: Any
Summary: Typical newbie intro not liking what he sees, is confused, and likely on edge.
Warnings: Aggressive, foul behavior. Idiotism. Atypical shounen heroism.
[Along the Stairway]
[InuYasha hadn't bother to investigate the trunk that carried his belongings, what few he possessed anyway, his main priority had been to locate any of his friends. Unfortunately he wasn't able to pick a scent to any of them. What worried him more was the distinct scent of blood that loomed in certain distances of the new setting he found himself in.]
KAGOME?!
SANGO?!
MIROKU?!
[Where he came from, elevators weren't invented and so he didn't think to use one, or even know its function. Naturally this left him to travel by stairs. For the first few floors he was caution, and anticipating the worse; the stairs kept going…and going. He wondered how large this building actually was.]
ANYONE!!
[Many of the floors came to surprise him. Things he had never seen before, things he's never even dreamed of before. But nothing caught his interest quite like the potent stench of blood of the seventy-first. His expression twisted at the sight.]
What's going on here?
[Was this the insides of something larger? But how can that be possible within a building. Not to mention all of the other nature settings he had passed up until this point. It was more than enough to keep InuYasha grounded on the stairs, at least for this floors.]
[Floor 48]
[This floor was especially questionable, the half breed peered into the graveyard. Was this where they buried their dead? Instincts told him he should avoid all of the floors, but something about a grave just hit a little close to home. Not to mention the gravesite of his very father was hidden within the pupil of his right eye, but you know, that's normal. InuYasha cautiously stepped onto the floor. When nothing dangerous occurred, he proceeded. As he was walking along, he noticed all of the marked graves.]
[Floor 17]
[Bloody handprints and screaming would normally be the cue to retreat to safer grounds, but more often than not it lead to violence and meaningless slaughter. The very things he and his friends rushed to. InuYasha couldn't help but step onto the floor, thinking that there may be someone who needs help here.[
[Floor 1 - Cafeteria]
[The cafeteria, a setting he wasn't familiar with, but the smell of food…or well…nutrition bars (not that he knew what they were) filled the air. At least this one appeared safe, and there was an abundance of people.
He wasn't going to eat the oatmeal by the way.]

Either shut up or get off the stairs, you're annoying.
no subject
[Oh my he's nearly popping his knuckles.] What's more annoying is when I tear you to shreds if you don't tell me what's goin' on!
[Luke, don't corner a frighten dog.
Just don't.]
no subject
[Except now they both are. Whatever. Technicalities.]
And you're an idiot if you think that killing me is going to get me to tell you anything.
[Though he looks more concerned than he sounds.]
no subject
I met plenty of punks like you who think death doesn't do the trick, but in actuality [crackle of the knuckles] it's more useful than you think.
[Any of his friends would know he's bluffing, but unfortunately for the other, he didn't have that luxury.]

Hello. Are you alright?
no subject
Tch, I'm fine. [He sounded irritable though.] Who're you?
no subject
The concept of burying the dead wasn't that strange to chaos though-he had lived a long time and understood that it brought peace to both the burier and the person being buried, on occasion.]
I am glad to hear that. My name is chaos. If you do not mind my asking, whom are you?

The half breed clutched the stranger's wrist and snarled. His voice didn't occur to him yet.]
You got some nerve grabbing me!

Ah, wait!
[Have a young blonde woman with strange, pointed ears running up to you just before you can grab up some of those funny looking bars, Inuyasha.]
no subject
He was already highly irritable, so her approaching him in haste didn't sit well.]
What do you want?!
no subject
Simply to tell you that if you do not eat the oatmeal there--[Point.]--before anything else, you will become ill. I do not know why, but it is the same for everyone who awakens here.
[A slight bow of her head, then, as though she's about to excuse herself.]
That is all.

His young face twists. What's to stop Anise's name from appearing there any morning? The idea of seeing her name etched on a gravestone is enough to make him sick. He was the one who was supposed to die young.
But that wasn't something to think about.
The crunching of grass causes him to turn his head. Any distraction is welcome--why not make some friendly conversation? The long-haired young man who's just entered the floor seems to be a bit lost.
Ion wills back that characteristic smile of his, and he gives a respectful nod to the newcomer.]
Good morning.
no subject
Good for who? I don't suppose you mean me?!
[Because did it look like he was having a good morning? He already got in a fight today.]
no subject
Oh...I'm sorry. It wasn't my intention to offend. [And now, really looking...this must be one of the month's newcomers. Not many people walk around in those white suits, otherwise.] You're still adjusting, aren't you?
[Ion understood. His first day had been disorienting, troubling, and well, he had died. But that was beside the point. And not something to bring up in polite conversation.]
Is there anything I can do to help?

Anise is pretty decent at tuning things out, and figures the screaming will keep most people from witnessing her attempts at fixing Tokunaga on her own. In most cases, it does. In InuYasha's? Not so much. She sees motion out of the corner of her eye and looks up. He's certainly not someone she's seen before.]
Are you new here?
[...Anise no that's creepy.]
Re: Floor 17
Lookin content just sewin' there. [While people are screaming.
You look like a villain you know! And InuYasha will convey this nature of thinking by expressing an offensive stance at her.]
no subject
[She doesn't look bothered by his stance. Even without Tokunaga, she's still quick on her feet and is totally capable of sticking up for herself if it comes to a fight - or at least, that's what she thinks.]
You never answered my question! What's wrong, cat got your tongue, mister?

She missed her friends and she missed her friends from home. Even though Darres was here, she still missed her kitty vampire who supported her for the time she was here. She had Darres and Darres protected her now. She was grateful for that and grateful for the things he was doing for her, but there was always that missing piece. Somehow, she would never get over missing the people she had lost.
Sidia was sitting on her lap, and clutched in one of her hands tightly as she furrowed her brows in her sleep.

"HEY! Wake up!"
You're not allowed to sleep here.

It would take more than a few words to wake up this sleeping log.
