[For Shinji] His collar was dangerously light, the palest yellow and Suzaku stumbled as he climbed the staircase.

When I commanded you to live for the sake of the world, I did not mean instead of the world. Lelouch's voice was cutting, and had been a constant companion this week. Instead of me, instead of Nunnally

Lelouch wasn't the only shadow, Suzaku was surrounded, some of these people he didn't even know, but they all said the same thing. A world that doesn't exist is not the same as a peaceful world. Why would you do this?

The voices continues and Suzaku grew weaker, until he stopped in one of the lounges, sitting down, closing his eyes.

I don't know why big brother ever trusted you.

But just as Suzaku gave up his eyes opened, flashing red. He made his way to his room, the group of shadows following him, stopping for nothing as he entered his room, eyes still rimmed red.

[Open] It happened every time, just as Suzaku seemed to give up, was ready to let the final colour drain from his collar his Geass kicked in, sending him towards people, sometimes those he knew, and sometimes strangers. The journeys themselves he couldn't remember, a gap between closing his eyes and stood blinking in front of someone, on a totally different floor than when he had began.

He did his best to play keep away, but it'd been a while since he'd played anything but goalkeeper, so if Suzaku was persistent enough he got the ball. But the boy didn't seem too disappointed or discouraged by it.

"Hey! What's your name?"

Suzaku got the ball but seemed almost unsure what he was doing with it. A moment later he began dribbling it towards the goal. "Suzaku Kururugi."

"It's nice to meet you, Suzaku!" Endou isn't bothering to get the ball back. He's moving to the goal. He's going to get the ball back as any good goalkeeper does.

"It is nice to meet you too..." He paused not knowing the boys name and continued running towards the goal, when he thought he was close enough he kicked it, trying to score.

"Endou! Endou Mamoru!" He was pretty sure that's what the guy was looking for. When the kick was made, the goalkeeper leaped for it, refusing to let the ball into the net. With a grin, he tossed it back to Suzaku.

"You'll need to use a kick a lot stronger than that to get by me!" After rolling his shoulder, he patted his hands together. "Or show me some of your hissatsu!"

Suzaku caught the ball, and blinked. "Hissatsu?"

"Yeah! Like how you just suddenly appeared on the field. That was some kind of hissatsu, wasn't it?" Come on, dude. People can't just do that for no good reason!

He blinked in confusion, "No." He shook his head, "I am unsure what you mean by hissatsu."

"Oh." But wait, he performed a hissatsu... "Alright well. Try and score again, and I'll show you what a hissatsu is!"

Suzaku blinked and then nodded, dropped the ball and kicking again, harder this time, towards the goal.

And Endou smiled, pulling his hand back as if he was going to punch the ball - which is exactly what he was planning to do. As he pulled his fist back around, his knuckles lit ablaze, the fire engulfing his entire hand as it connected with the ball.

"Nekketsu Punch!" Just like that, the ball was sent flying away from the goal, leaving the keeper standing there with a dumb grin on his face.

"That is a hissatsu technique!"

Um... Was his hand just on fire? And he had just punched the ball...

Suzaku stood there looking completely surprised, he would have thought, after all this time in this tower nothing would surprise him anymore.

His hand was on fire, yes. And yes, he did punch the ball. But that wasn't even his most impressive technique.

As Suzaku stood there, Endou continued grinning...until the other guy didn't say anything. And then tilted his head a little.

"...yo, Suzaku, is something wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong. I have never seen soccer played like that before." An interesting form of magic.

That smile returns to his face as he laughs. "This is how soccer is played back home! But even if it's different, soccer is still soccer."

"I guess it is. I don't think I will be able to score even one goal against you though."

"Why not? All it takes is some confidence!" Sure, Endou has hissatsu techniques on his side, but he's sure if Suzaku put his mind to it, he could develop some of his own. And even if he couldn't, he's obviously got some pretty cool tricks up his sleeves!

Suzaku wasn't sure how to deal with this much optimism, but he nodded.

"What other hissatsu techniques do you know?"

Endou was all optimism, all the time.

And all energy, all the time as well.

He's ecstatic that Suzaku wants to know more, grinning from ear to ear and clenching his hands into fists of excitement.

"I know a lot! Well okay not a lot, but the ones I do know are great! I know some great goal keeper ones," at this he acts as if he's blocking a shot, "and even a few shots," cue kicking an imaginary ball, "but those I can't really do without my friends. But I can show you my keeper techniques!"

"Okay then, you can show me them." He nods, "Do you wish me to try and score again?"
