let's laugh at the memories, and talk all afternoon
Characters: Lina, Link, Xion, and Zelda [closed]
Format: Action?
Setting: Room 1-01
Summary: Zelda visits the ladies of Room 1-01 one night. Gossip ensues.
Warnings: TEENAGERS. ... Sort of. Age is complicated for replicas/heroes of time.
[She's really starting to grow tired of things following her everywhere. First the retrieval unit sent to "keep her in line" (for all the good that did), then the chaos the past week with the initial outbreak of the psychelysis phantoms, and despite having succumbed to them earlier, Zelda once again finds herself being stalked by one of the stray shadowy children left behind.
Fortunately, it's just the one, and she knows how to handle them this time around. With little ceremony, she makes her way to the room at the end of the hall and knocks upon the door.]
Hello? It is Zelda. May I come in?
[Hopefully at least one of the three she knows to reside in this room will be there.]

The shadow child stalking her, in turn, skitters away from the room and flees.]
Just one of the psychelysis phantoms Jason apparently could not be bothered to clean up. It is gone now. [She says to Lina with a dismissing gesture as she enters the room before turning back to Xion.] Thank you, Xion.

Ah, phooey. Wouldn't have been too keen on doing Jason's work for him, but ah well.

... Zelda. I hope you're doing well.
[ But Lina, please. ]
Jason can do his own work. He doesn't need accomplished heroes cleaning up his awful messes. We have better things to do with our time than chase ghosts.
Gah how did I miss this I'm so sorry sob
[She closes the door again - it wouldn't do to have any monsters slip in while they were talking, after all. That done she slips over to her bed, where her pouch is lying, open. There's a set of shells she was sorting through, along with a slightly smushed but still recognizable paper crane and paper songbird. The letters she kept with her were still in the bag though.
She returns to her sorting, a grimace flashing across her face as she listens to Link's words.]
Agreed.
[Anything to make his "babysitting" harder is all right by her. She sighs.]
Let's talk about something else. Maybe other things we've been doing lately?
[Just. Not Jason. Badmouthing him is an acceptable compromise but she's not going to start it.]
shhh no worries /pats
But it's obvious Xion doesn't want to talk about it (and for good reason), so she lets the conversation thread drop as she (naturally) makes her way to sit next to Link.]
... I learned a new song on the harp from Fado--[A slight glance at Link, since she's the only one Zelda knows of that also knows who she's talking about.]--a few days ago, but aside from that, I cannot say I have been doing anything particularly noteworthy.
[Except dying to the phantom of an alternate version of the girl sitting next to her, but we don't talk about that, okay.]

Mostly stickin' my neck out for people that are dumb enough to go wandering around at night when they really have no business doing so. You'd think some people would know better by this point, but no...
