Characters: Irisviel Von Einzbern
Setting: Room 2-03 then everywhere
Format: Spamish.
Summary: Irisviel awakes in a strange place and then wanders the tower in search of answers.
Warnings: None.

[The night prior, Irisviel had fallen asleep safe and content in the second-hand dwelling that currently lay in use as a secret base of sorts. Safe in the knowledge that loyal servant and friend would protect her from any ill the world may send her way, it seemed that soon her dreams would soon come to fruition or so she thought . The next day she had woke up in a haze in an unfamiliar room. and, after regaining her balance, manged to find the letter that had been given to her by the admin explaining the place in which she had awakened and the apparent demise of her home world. Such news filled the homunculus with fear and dread, such destruction would mean the death of all those dear to her and the dream she had worked so hard to make real.

After a long time of crying into her pillow and trying to rationalize what had just happened to her, Irisviel collects what little wit she has left and leaves her room with the intent of finding someone who could answer her lingering questions and put her mind at ease. First poking her head into any floor that looked safe enough and politely calling to the emptiness if anyone there could help, she eventually settles at the cafeteria, tired and heavy eyed, staring down a plate of food that her tired and confused state seems to be barring her from eating, She eventually gives up on eating and moves on to greener pastures, quite literally in fact, as she finds herself standing in the middle of a great meadow. With no energy to move on, and no food in her stomach, Irisviel quickly lays down and finds herself lazily napping away the afternoon without a care in the world.]

[Irisviel turned to meet the the man talking to her with a mixture of concern and confusion worn upon her pale face.]

Why yes, I am. Are you an acquaintance of my family?

Ah--no, not exactly. I think you and I might have briefly crossed paths, in one world or another. Tell me, was Rider's Master in your experience some short annoying little brat of a kid?

Oh, you must mean Waver. Though I only met him once, when everyone assembled to fight Caster, so I can't really say if he was annoying or anything like that.

To phrase it simply, in another world that would have been me. [well, that was a LITTLE blunt...]

Lord El-Melloi the second, Waver Velvet. Pleasure to meet you, though I'm afraid your full name escapes me at the moment.

That certainly is surprising! I never would have guessed that you were the same person as Rider's master.

But it is a pleasure to meet you to, I am Irisviel Von Einzbern.

Sort of. It's a little difficult to explain and involves no small amount of Second Magic.

[Shrugging, Waver extended his hand and started to drop the formal tone.]

Irisviel, right...Am I to assume you weren't Archer's Master as I remember you to have been?

[Irisviel takes Waver's hand and shakes it gently.]

Though I was never a master myself, where I'm from Archer was the servant of the Tohsaka family. While the my family summoned Saber as their servant for the Fourth War.

[For just a second Waver considered questioning that--if she hadn't been the Einzbern's Master, she sure seemed like it. But on second thought, he didn't really care to know many inconsequential details of a war that was long since over.]

I believe the Tohsaka family summoned Rider, as far as I know. Personally, my own Servant was and is currently Lancer.

May I ask who Saber's master was during the war?

To be completely honest with you, I'm not certain. We encountered Saber herself a couple times, but I don't believe I ever saw her Master.

Whoever Saber ended up with as a master, I hope that they were kind to her. That is all I can really hope for.

It sounds like she was important to you.

Though I only knew her for a short time, Saber was a sweet and kind girl who did her best to make sure that I was safe and comfortable. For that reason alone I would consider her to be a very close friend of mine.

[Waver's initial response was a small, acknowledging nod. It seemed as though he could respect that answer, or even sympathize with it.]

There is one Saber here; she wears white instead of blue, but seemed more or less the same as my recollection of her.

[That news comes as a bit of a shock to Irisviel, she had almost resigned herself to the fact that those closest to her were gone. her eyes widen a bit upon hearing Waver's words.]

That is good to hear! Even if she is not the Saber I know, it is still comforting to know that she is here.

She's actually quite nice, all things considered. When last we spoke she did seem to be having some difficulty, but in a place like this that's practically to be expected.

I hope that she will be ok. Though she is a strong girl and I'm sure she will get through whatever problems she may face just fine.

Oh, I wouldn't doubt for a moment that she'll be fine, certainly.

Is there anyone else of note here that I should know about?

Off the top of my head...let's see, there's an individual by the name of Sephiroth I would try to watch out for. There are actually two of them; the older one seems to be the one that's actually dangerous. There's also...what was his name, Ryuunosuke something or other. I haven't seen him in a while, but I think he was contracted to Caster in one world or another--that should probably speak for itself.

As far as residents go, past that you should be fine as long as you're fairly cautious. And I realize you probably have very little reason to trust me, but if you run into trouble, both myself and Diarmuid will bewilling to help however we can.
