Summary: Shion catches Reno up to speed on the Tower about certain reveals- let's just call the rest temporary insanity. There will be wall punching
Warnings: this isn't going to be pretty

He honestly hadn't wanted to do this, but the lack of clothing for both him and Shion had left little choice. It was degrading. It was humiliating. It was something he kinda sucked at.

Reno sat on his bed with legs folded up underneath him, wearing his makeshift black bandanas to cover his face, long ago replacing the sheet he'd been using. Spread out in front of him was some black cloth he was carefully hand stitching together. It'd be a shirt when he was done, expect for the part it was taking forever. He didn't want to hang out too long in the workshop, or really, anywhere else in the Tower right then, and he was worse with the machines.

By this rate, he'd have this shirt done by December, if he was lucky. Shion had said he wanted to stop by and talk with him, too, and while not totally secure, it was easier here than dealing with randomly wandering monsters.

Reno frowned at the cloth just before he misjudged the distance between his finger and the needle.

"Ouch! Shiva's tits..."

[Reno is stomping around the corridors of Dorm Floor 1, occasionally punching the wall in frustration. He's heading toward the staircase, though.]

Reno [Shion is still trying to grab hold of him, not caring how many times he is pushed away] Calm down.

[He just ignored Shion, pulling away at the last second, avoiding the boy's grip. He only pauses long enough to slam his fist into the wall by the Dorm 1 elevators, doing no damage except to his own hand.]

It's a fucking lie.

[He was starting to see how frustrating it must be for Xion when he was like this] Calm down, what are you going to achieve like this?

I'm going down there.

[It was deadly calm, determined. Nothing of the Reno Shion knew was in that tone of voice. This was the guy that could press a button and kill thousands of people, not the one that made ridiculously bad cakes and taught kids how to fight...]

Reno... You can't. [You're scaring him Reno, but he's not going to stop. He needs to stop you.]

Like you can stop me. [He pushes past Shion, not caring how that would make him feel. There was... too much.]

I will... [It does hurt, Shion follows him, angrily blinking away tears.]

[The smaller Sephiroth is on his way toward the staircase as well, having perfunctorily slept the necessary amount in order to avoid weakening. Now he can go back to his all-important investigations and monster-slayings. He pauses at the sight of a man punching the wall.

He isn't often given to emotional reactions himself, but he has seen his share of them.]

Are you in need of assistance?

[Punching the wall once more, he turns and frowns at the kid, and a tiny part of his mind wondered why the kid looked so familiar.]

Assistance? Do I look like I need it?

[Sephiroth considers this question. If the man's problem stems from the fact that he's upset, Sephiroth likely will be unable to help. He isn't particularly insightful when it comes to others' emotions, and he's often unaware of them, but he's aware of the fact that they tend to confuse him.]

Perhaps. You may injure yourself.

They'd just repair it, kid.

[There were a lot of implications in that statement.]

They do not repair us until we die. It remains unproductive to injure oneself.

Sometimes, that's not the point.

[Still, he rocks back to deliver a very satisfying kick to the wall.]
