Summary: Shion catches Reno up to speed on the Tower about certain reveals- let's just call the rest temporary insanity. There will be wall punching

He honestly hadn't wanted to do this, but the lack of clothing for both him and Shion had left little choice. It was degrading. It was humiliating. It was something he kinda sucked at.

Reno sat on his bed with legs folded up underneath him, wearing his makeshift black bandanas to cover his face, long ago replacing the sheet he'd been using. Spread out in front of him was some black cloth he was carefully hand stitching together. It'd be a shirt when he was done, expect for the part it was taking forever. He didn't want to hang out too long in the workshop, or really, anywhere else in the Tower right then, and he was worse with the machines.

By this rate, he'd have this shirt done by December, if he was lucky. Shion had said he wanted to stop by and talk with him, too, and while not totally secure, it was easier here than dealing with randomly wandering monsters.

Reno frowned at the cloth just before he misjudged the distance between his finger and the needle.

"Ouch! Shiva's tits..."

Staircase

[midgarhorizon]

[After Floor 100, Reno is running down the staircase headlong to the bottom, like there's something after him- which there kinda was. He isn't paying particular attention to the people, so it would be quite easy to bump into him.]

Oh screw it, 'cause this mun likes drama.

[Ganta hates the elevator, more than anything. So, as usual he is taking the stairs back to his dorm room. It is there that he is slammed into, as he is looking down. After nearly falling backwards, down the stairs, Ganta gives a startled expression. He is gripping either side of the rails, looking up with a startled expression.]

That was close. [He realizes who it is.] ...Oh, it's you, Roen. Are you okay?

[midgarhorizon]

[Recoiling backward, Reno sat down on the upper stair with a flop. He stares at the kid for a brief moment before remembering where he'd seen that face.

The bandana was getting stifling. He yanks the lower one down, stands up, and scowls at the kid.]

...You're in my way.

[woodpeckermaruta]

[Well, that's not the response he'd expected, at all. Is this even the same guy, as before? Gray eyes narrow a bit as he studies the redhead's face. What's going on, here? He looks exactly like the guy, from earlier... besides having different attire, that is.]

Uh... what's wrong? [He moves to the side, though; while deciding on following behind Roen, so it makes no difference.]

[midgarhorizon]

I'm going to kill them. [He spoke quietly, like he'd said he was going down to breakfast. It didn't take a genius to figure out who he meant, though. He starts down again, slower this time, but building up speed.]

[woodpeckermaruta]

[Not long, indeed. Ganta pauses a moment, watching the redhead continue down the stairs. He lets out a sigh.]

Hey, wait, I'm coming with you!

[He is practically leaping down the stairs three... not four at a time, to catch up to the older man.]

[midgarhorizon]

No, you're not.

[There was still a small part of him that kept telling him this was stupid. His stupid actions weren't going to get another kid killed, nope.]

[woodpeckermaruta]

Yeah? Well, try to stop me!

[Really, Reno, the kid is stubborn. Good luck trying to stop him.]

[midgarhorizon]

[And he just keeps going down, though he does speed up a little. Try to catch him, Ganta.]

[woodpeckermaruta]

[Is that the Benny Hill theme coming from somewhere in the tower? Ganta immediately takes off the second he sees the redhead continuing down the stairs. He gets frustrated with the speed, but that only pushes him to move faster.]

So, what, you're just gonna ignore me, then?! [Ganta is as stubborn as they come, when he finally sets his mind to something.]

[midgarhorizon]

Yes.

[Don't interrupt a Turk on Business, kiddo.]

[It might be easy to bump into him, but Riku is quite good at dodging. He raises an eyebrow though - and frowns deeply when he realizes just who has almost run into him just now. Well... that's definitely a face he has very mixed feelings about.]

[midgarhorizon]

[Reno didn't even seem to be aware of what happened at first, but the near miss does make him stop for a moment, hesitating just slightly before slamming his fist into the rail. It was hard enough to make a crack sound, and it hadn't been the rail.]

[justabignobody]

[That eyebrow is just raising higher - Reno what has that rail done to you? ...Or should he be wondering about what his hand had done instead?

Riku is just going to watch wordlessly for now, he is only slightly concerned... and really only because he wonders if whatever happened somehow is connected to Xion. (...It better not be.)]

[midgarhorizon]

[He's going to keep going now, jumping down a few steps to get some momentum. Don't worry, Riku. He's angry more than worried, otherwise he'd be going at a far faster pace instead of determined to damage the rail on every floor.]

[justabignobody]

[Riku follows after him at a much slower pace; it's not like it's that hard given the noise he's making on the way and if he needs them, he always has certain shortcuts after all.

Also he's not worried. He's just curious. :|]

Re: Staircase

[ Well it's no surprise Doc would bump into Reno, especially since Doc is pretty absentminded on his own. He frowns before realizing who he bumped into-- A familiar figure, yet not too familiar. But still someone he had met during his first stay in the tower. ]

Lad! It's been a while.

[ Sorry, he's not detecting any of the troubles Reno may have on his mind. ]

[Reeling, Reno grabs on to the rail this time. Another familiar face. This was... Doc. But it was getting hard to remember people. The rage and anger and everything was making it hard to actually process.]

...Not long enough. I'm going down. [He sounded deceptively calm.]

[doc_brown]

[ Well, even Doc isn't oblivious enough not to realize that there is a problem with Reno at this point. He looks at him and frowns-- And will follow him if needed. ]

Is there something wrong?

[midgarhorizon]

[That makes him stop just long enough to turn around and stare at Doc disbelieving.]

...No, everything's just fine. Being a disembodied soul is normal, y'know.

[doc_brown]

Oh, that!

[ Wow you're late kid. But on a serious note, Doc is totally unfazed. You can see a true veteran right here. ]

That is terrible but it could be worse really! Besides, our souls are well real!

[midgarhorizon]

[THAT IS NOT THE REACTION HE WAS HOPING FOR. Geez, Doc, you just confirmed everything. WAY TO GO.

Reno just, sort of facepalms.]

[doc_brown]

[ THIS FACEPALM IS TOTALLY UNWARRANTED.

So just have Doc staring at you weirdly for your weird reaction. Oh, and the dog sits down and stares at you too. ]

[Just. Glare, Doc. Glare.]

What makes ya think that wasn't a lie, too, Doc?

Because I have left the tower and gone into another world!

[ It was a discreet and easilly missable detail, but Doc's collar was now Yellow, when it used to be Orange before he briefly went to another world. And the fact that he had left the tower, even out of his control, was enough for him to keep believing their inner being is real enough. ]

I did exist in this other world, I was just fine and the doctors didn't find anything wrong with me! Should I add, my body was of flesh and blood and no glamour system existed in Hinoto-Ri!
