Setting: hall on the 2nd floor of the dorms to start with, after that we can move elsewhere

Summary: Ψ is finally venturing out again
Warnings: Probably not but with the trolls you never know when it'll end in bloodshed and violence

It took a day or so before Ψiioniic was willing to venture out of his respite block again. Not that the room felt all that safe, considering Signless and Suzaku had attacked him in his sleep. Still safer than the rest of the tower, though.

When he did finally poke his head out, he was very wary and nervous, much as he had been when he'd first arrived in the tower. At least his had his powers firmly back under control, which made him feel a whole lot better about his ability to defend himself.

Suzaku had avoided his room as much as he could. He was paying for it, weakness struck him but he deserved it for what he had done. And if him being absent from his room meant that Psiioniic could feel safer than it was worth it.

Suzaku saw him in the coridoor and stood there in silence. What... what did you say to someone you'd tried to kill? This... wasn't even the first time he's had to have such a conversation and it would not be the last, he knew he would have to face Milagro eventually. But it wasn't something that got easier.

And nor should it be. Suzaku didn't apologise often, barely ever even though he carried so much guilt. Those that he wanted to apologise to most though were dead.

"Psi..." His voice was quiet and his face was set. Maybe this was a gift, that despite what he had done... this time he could make it right...

Ψiioniic went very still when he saw Suzaku, and his eyes flashed for a moment; red to blue and blue to red. Then he took a deep breath and calmed himself, forcing his powers back under control. He'd had more than enough of them slipping away from him in the last month.

"Suzaku," he said quietly, moving toward his roommate, though not without a touch of caution. "Are you... back to normal?"

Suzaku braced himself in case Psiioniic decided to lash out with his powers, he wouldn't fight it because he would deserve it. He didn't move any closer, not out of fear but because he knew he had probably shattered the small amount of trust he had won with his roomate.

He nodded, "I came to apologise."

Luckily for Suzaku, Ψiioniic wasn't the type to ever attack first. So long as Suzaku didn't attack him again, Ψiioniic wasn't going to lash out at him.

Besides, he'd already determined that Signless had been acting under the influence of the tower when he'd attacked, so presumably Suzaku had been as well. "It'th okay," he assured the human boy softly, though not without a hint of wariness still. "SS wathn't himself, tho I assume you weren't, either."

Suzaku nodded slowly, "They are powerful," he murmered and then shook his head, that was only an excuse, he should have been stronger. "You should not have had to go through that."

"No, I shouldn't," Ψiioniic agreed, meeting his eyes. "But they're the oneth I'm mad at, not you. Or SS, or anyone else who attacked me and the others that day. It wath all of us, Suzaku. We were all attacked and killed by our friendth, the people we trust, and that'th the tower's doing, not yours."

Suzaku bowed his head, he understood all that but he still felt guilty. "I cannot say it wont happen again..." Because who knew what those that ran this tower would think of next. He remembered the note, thanking him for taking part in some experiment.

Was this all this was? Was that there purpose. "All I can say is I will do my best to help you and Signless bring this place down."
