Event: Questions and Answers

Summary: Some of the tower administration answers questions characters may have about their situation.

There is a small, hastily-constructed stage at the head of the cafeteria. While it's empty now, it's obvious there's room for two people to sit and answer questions in front of microphones. After dinner, the collared cafeteria workers silently clear away all food to prepare. Until the session begins, everyone is left to talk amongst themselves.

Shoutarou stands up. "What's the deal with the selection process? I could be a lot more useful at home trying to -stop- whatever ended my world rather than being stuck here."

"Yes, I believe Dax directed you to us," Jason said. "The process is currently random--we will take anyone who is able to be taken. We are currently trying to find the common factor between you all ourselves."

"Random..." Shoutarou scoffed, looking away as he put his hands on his hips. "You can tell when our worlds end, but can't tell who you're taking?"

"We don't have a great deal of time between finding the world in question and its destruction. We see who we're taking, but only a half hour before at most."
