Cover up times. Beware the ravens.
Characters: Open to all.
Setting: Residential floors, night time
Format: Whatever floats a person's boat.
Summary: After the collapsing floors, Mitch is going on a crusade to keep an eye out for two particular creatures. The Revenant and Filth-Corrupted.
Warnings: Possible death, violence, dismemberment and meme spouting.
The recent damages to the Tower had seemed to of left everyone in some form of disarray or another. With everyone picking up their broken pieces and drying their tears as they took care of their wounds, Mitchell slunk into the backdrop once more. He had bigger fish to fry. First off, to look for his newly recruited agent to find out what she had found or knows. Granted that he was certain others would blab about their experiences over the net.
Second, to cover up another form of mess that the misery and death could have attracted. He knows of such beings that currently have been brought to the Tower. And was somewhat cautious about not dealing with them around others. Such matters did not pertain to most of the Tower's residents, which was something he would also like to leave as is.
So after dawning his gas mask and uniform, the agent went about his business quietly hunting what goes bump in the night. His plans could wait for the moment.

Sephiroth had heard that before, he'd even spoken those very same words out loud and inside of his head on more than a few occasions. He wondered, for a moment, how deep Mitchell's belief in himself really did go. But it didn't matter, none of it mattered.
The dormitory hallway, at least for the time being seemed clear of all monsters. Had there been any, the edge of Masamune would surely have found them already. Sephiroth tilted his head slightly to one side, silver bangs in the gloom threw strange shadows over his face, as he continued to regard Mitchell.
"You hunt for something to prove yourself against." It's only a surmised statement, but he was very much the same way.

Besides, he felt as though his fears about what he was keeping an eye out for we're very important and valid. After all, who wants the very essence of corruption walking around? Or that of misery and suffering? "Maybe I am?"

"Oh?" The silver-haired man flexed his left hand around the blue wrapped hilt of his weapon. Of course the other guy had to be hunting for something, all those that were out that late within the Tower were often doing the same. Sephiroth was always out into the early hours of the morning, indulging himself, as well.
Sorry for lateness
But he still didn't miss that hand flexing around the hilt. Waving a hand in front of himself dismissively as he kept his distance, if the guy wanted a fight, then the Illuminated one wanted to keep the distance advantage. Maybe slow him down with an anima grenade? "That would none of your concern, citizen. Go back to bed."
also sorry for late - back to work now so less time in the week! orz
The subtle flex of his grip had been only a test mostly, to see if Mitchell would be looking to fight him in particular. The dismissive hand gesture voided that notion.
"It might not surprise you that I make something of a pastime out of hunting for fearsome opponents." In truth he was somewhat intrigued now about Mitchell, and in particular how he would fight the same. "Out for something particular?"
Same TT
So, balls to the wall.

Sephiroth was not one to push the issue, he certainly wasn't about to tag along with Mitchell if the other clearly didn't want him there. Sephiroth himself wouldn't want the insistent company either, if he wanted to go at something alone.
If Mitchell died, well, that would be no skin off Sephiroth's nose for sure.
The tall silver-haired warrior swept past Mitchell then, with his long arching sword swept around in a single-handed grip. The edge of the blade lined the back of his arm all the way up and past shoulder armor, the curved tip extended off towards his head. Sephiroth didn't even look back as he headed down the hallway away from Mitchell.
