October 20th. Floor 1~
[The feeling had started welling inside her since she came back from the cafeteria. At least tonight it was something pumpkin flavored instead of that horrid mush she had her first night here.
As she approaches her room, the feeling grows, and eventually begins to freeze in the pit of her stomach. Ice claws gnawed at her gut as she opened the door, eyes tracing over the note on her bed.
Another one? She picks it up and reads slowly. Candy? What was this about?
Clicking her tongue, she throws the note back onto her bed and walks back out of her room, looking up and down the hallway to see if she could possibly find the offender. Shaking her head, she stands in the hall, trying to figure out what exactly she should do. A thought comes to her then, that makes her feet begin to take her away from her room. She should start looking around. For what? She doesn't really know just yet, but she's beginning to get a sweet tooth.]
October 21. Floor 5~
[Gone. All of it is gone. This has to be a dream, but it seems like no matter how much she tries, she can't pinch herself awake. She shudders, biting her lip.]
Steady...it's just like before. Except...worse. [She takes a deep breath before looking towards the desolate image of her home. Dust, rust, and crackled earth painted the horizon as she peered further into the viewfinder at the colorless graveyard of buildings and rotted plants. She had been searching, trying to find something to keep her occupied. If she was going to be stuck in this tower, she may as well find out what's there. This isn't what she had hoped for. Eventually, she feels a tear run down her cheek, and her eyes glaze over. Had she known it was just a trick, she would be less likely to lower her guard. ]

Honestly, Veronica did have a bit of a sweet tooth. Always enjoying some chocolate or cake back home with Fran and Adorea. Her craving had dropped considerably when she arrived in the tower, and now this... this craving was making it ten times worse.
She knew that she was being pushed, made to keep collecting. It made her furious, and she was going to stop.
Soon. But right now she might as well find a little candy. Which brought her to this floor. She stepped in and froze, seeing Fang looked at the monitors that she herself looked at when she first showed up here. Her craving was briefly forgotten.]
I know.

I stood in the actual place once, and saw how broken and empty it was. It wasn't this bad... This isn't my home. This isn't my Oerba.

[Slowly, cautiously, she comes up beside Fang. She notes the monitor, it's landscape much different than that of her own world.]
It... It could all be an illusion. No one knows for sure.

It damn well better be...
no subject
We've all seen our own worlds in that state.

[Veronica sighed and shook her head.]
You shouldn't lose hope. We're all working on a way to get out of here and make things right.

Say...Where can I find the people that are looking into these sorts of things? I'd like to help out...
no subject
Oh, right. Uh, they're kind of everywhere. There's this guy named Enoch that you could go find, he's sort of the leader.
... Or you could find a guy named Mitchell Dominic. He's doing things too.
no subject
What exactly are they doing?
no subject
[And she's the only one he's got.]

I wonder if I could switch between...
no subject
Probably. Wouldn't hurt to get a full scope of the "resistance".

Count me in.

...What was I doing?
[In the back of her mind, she felt like she was forgetting something. It felt cold, and irritating. More so, she'd noticed all of these random pieces of candy on the floor recently. It then dawns on her, They get awfully hungry, you know! She shudders. The candy. That was it!
She had stopped in the hallway, staring off into space for a good amount of time before she notices a few pieces trailing back to her room. Picking them up, she follows, stopping only when she reaches her door to open it. As she enters, she sighs at the appearance of a bowl. That wasn't there before.]
This game isn't cute anymore.
[Something told her that she needed this bowl though, and that she needed to put the candy she had found in that bowl. Walking closer, she holds out the handful she had gathered, rolling the pieces around for a moment before tossing them in. Just like that, and her worry; her paranoia, was gone.]
Huh... [Maybe it was time to find a few more pieces. But only just a few more.]
October 23. Floor 99~
Memories. That's all this floor brought to her. Memories, pain, and the instant urge to run. The elevator was already going back down though, and there were a lot of floors to go. She would have to wait a long time before it came back up.
Turning away from the now closed doors, she shudders, taking in the details of the crystal room.]
Some sense of humor. Whoever made this tower must really want to ruin my day.
[She had been pulled from crystal, only to find more crystal, but at least this time, she wasn't encased in it and asleep. It was still an empty and lonely feeling inside her, and that would never go away. Some part of the floor was beautiful, but to Fang, it was more or less a place of hollow pasts.
She walks forward, making sure to pick of the pieces of candy she's seen on the way. Stopping at a particular wall, she raises a hand, pressing it to the cold crystal before running her fingers down the wall.]
Vanille...
Where could you possibly be right now? I hope you're safe.
