Summary: He's not involved with the Halloween stuff, but he's got some stuff on his plate anyways. It's gotten much quieter with more of his friends disappearing.

Floor 48
Dave is doing his routine visit to the Graveyard. He leaves flowers at the graves of those he knew. It's just something he does now, since he can't speak to them anymore. It ensures that he won't forget them. People from his universe that have come and went. Those from other universes that he got attached to.

As he browses through the rows of tombstones, he stops when he sees two familiar names sitting next to each other. He stands in front of those two tombstones for a very long time. They've been around so long that he didn't think they'd leave. He should have considered it happening when Bro left. He finally drops some flowers on John's and Rose's graves before continuing through the rows and maybe just hoping a bit that he doesn't see new, familiar names on the rest of them. When he sees that Feferi has also joined the rows of tombstones, he feels a slight pang. She'd been through so much like him and she's gone now too. She's been here probably around the same amount of time as him. It's honestly kind of painful to see that she's gone now.

He's been here so long that he should have guessed this would have happened. He still kind of hoped it wouldn't happen again. He knew better.

Floor 25
He doesn't really return to his room after the Graveyard. Instead, he heads to the meadow floor to lie in the flowers. He was here earlier to grab the flowers, but he finds himself returning to it. It's peaceful here and he closes his eyes, trying to not think too much.

Dave is getting pretty tired of everyone eventually disappearing from this place.

Floor 14
He's got headphones plugged in. He has music on pretty high that it drowns out everything around him. He isn't too much in a good mood to try and converse with others it seems. He bobs his head a bit to the music, getting lost in it. It's just one of those days where you don't want to really deal with anything right now.

Room 2-01
He's been dragging his feet to check. He didn't see her name on any of the tombstones, but he was still scared. He didn't want to arrive and see that her name was no longer listed. He's relieved when he arrives and her name hasn't been taken off yet. Relieved, because she's not gone.

He finally knocks on the door. "Jade? You there?" He tries to keep his voice steady. Calm. He didn't want to seem like something was wrong.

Yeah, Simon has heard that sound before. He had sounded exactly the same when it all started...

"Oh, just... seeing if anyone I know is here." he sighs. "Better to know now rather than later."

[knightime]

"So you're new here?" Well, that sucks. "You can find names here, but there's always an offchance that they'll show up here again. They usually don't recall ever being here, but I've seen a few of the same people come here more than once. It makes looking for them here a little pointless if they can just come back. There's nothing in these graves anyways."

Someone had checked before if he recalls.

"So they come back from the dead then. Sort of." Simon found that pretty believable actually after everything he had witnessed. Though, not dying was a pretty big surprise. "Well, as long as they don't come back as janked up zombies, that's fine I guess."

The silence was broken when Simon asked the obvious question.

"Why are you here then? If that's okay to ask."

[knightime]

"When we die here, they just remove our souls and put us in new bodies. So, not janked up zombies. But hey, they can probably make zombies out of us if they want. They kind of do whatever they want here. It's kind of obnoxious."

It can get really, really aggravating too.

"The tombstones here are people that disappear from the Tower. Their stuff gets removed and they're no longer listed in the room they were occupying. I have some friends that are here." He doesn't think he has to mention that they haven't came back.

[icebutnice]

"They huh? Sounds like 'they' are pretty messed up."

Simon looks down at the tombstones that were in front of Dave. He lets out a small sigh. "I'm sorry. Really. I know what it's like to lose people."

[knightime]

"The administrators here. There's a few of them that take turns watching us. Some of them are nicer than others, but that isn't really saying much."

He shrugs. "This isn't the first time they've came and gone. You just get tired reexplaining stuff though, I guess."

[icebutnice]

"I suppose you're right. Especially if people keep coming back."

He shifted from one side to another. "And, if they don't come back?"

[knightime]

"You kind of just have to get used to them not being around. Ever." It's basically something he just has to come and accept when it came to a few of his friends. He was pretty sure he wouldn't see them in the Tower again.

"You kind of assume they're better off that way anyways. This place isn't a vacation."

[icebutnice]

"Eh, from what I've heard it sure doesn't seem like one." And he'd only been here a relatively short time. "I guess you're supposed to value your time with them, etc, etc. It still sucks pretty badly though."
