i'll take you on;
Characters: Ken and open!
Setting: The meadow floor (25).
Format: Either.
Summary: Ken's looking for some sparring practice. Hopefully people will answer his request from his network post.
Warnings: Violence, probably language. idk what else.
Ken didn't really care who came to see him in the meadow. Hopefully it would be at least one person, but he needed the practice anyway. He'd brought a few spears, in case anyone came to learn, but his more sturdy spear was in his hands.
He thrust forward, backward, and then planted it in the ground, using it like a pole vault to leap forward. He couldn't go as far as he used to - he still needed to adjust for weight. He wasn't as short as he used to be. Really, his spears probably needed to be extended, but he'd have to find someone to help with that.
He didn't trust everyone here. He couldn't. Really, there were only a few people he could trust - but that was enough for him. Still, better to give off the illusion of friendliness and openness in a place like this.
... He was thinking too much. Hopefully someone would show soon.

[He's just going to charge Ken again.]
no subject
[He takes a step to the side, doing his best to get out of the way and get in a stab of his own.]

Jin. One of your brothers, right?

[He attempts another attack, faster this time.]
I'm more specialized. Healing, electricity, and light attacks.

No physical attacks, though? You'd think she'd have one with that spear of hers.

[He tries another thrust, just to prove his point.]

You do a fine enough job by yourself. I don't see a problem.

[Gotta do that fast, 'cause Ken races back to try to catch him while he's healing.]

That's useful. Must make it interesting when two of you with the same powers go against each other.
[Though there should be no danger of that. He knows both Yu and Yukiko have the power to summon these Persona things, but both of them seem nice enough not to attack a kid.]
no subject
[He brings up a knee to lessen the damage, and pushes off, hopping back a bit.]
no subject
[He too backs away a few steps, so he and Ken are currently separated again until one or both of them decide to charge.]
