Characters: Amelia and open
Setting: Various floors, early December
Format: I'll match you!
Summary: Amelia tries to occupy herself now that there is no food
Warnings: GIANT FISH ATTACK. Character almost death.
[Floor 62]
[Three days of starvation when all the carnival food went rotten, and now nutrition bars? Completely unacceptable. Apparently if you want anything done right in this tower, you have to do it yourself. She's a little squeamish about hunting fuzzy animals, but she has no such qualms about fish, so she's taken to the ocean on floor 62. Of course, she doesn't have a fishing rod, but that's not a problem; she flies low above the water, trying to spot a nice, juicy looking fish beneath the surface. Occasionally she dives down and attempts to snatch one up in her hands.]
[Floor 40]
[Anyone entering this floor probably won't see her intially, but the rustling of cardboard will give her away-- she's up in the stacks and shelves, rifling through the boxes to see if anyone's left anything worth scavenging. Specifically, she's looking for sports balls. She's actually landing in some of the larger boxes; hopefully she won't cause an avalanche.]
[Floor 14]
[Amelia spends a lot of time on this floor, snuggled up in blankets she's brought down from the dormitory, playing video games or watching a movie. Company is very welcome!]

I rolled a one oh my god
This would be a lot easier if she were actually a bird.
Still! She's done this before, she can do it again. She skims down close to the water, trying to spot a flash of silver beneath the surface.
The fish spots her first. Huge and full of rows of sharp teeth, it lunges at Amelia and drags her into the water with a strangled scream.]

Without thinking he dropped his bag and flute, slipped off his cloak and shoes and ran into the water.
Of course now he was here he had to actually rescue her, why did these things always fall to Capell? Luckily he hadn't been in armour, but swimming with a sword is still hard, he dove after her and the fish though, arms swinging to try and knock away any other fish monsters that might come for them.]

Help! [She screams. Oh, god, this is so not the way to make a first impression.]

[If he can get into the shallows the fish can be dealt with]

The problem is, she's bleeding a lot now, and the blood is beginning to attract other creatures.]

Soon he can wade and he rushes as quickly as he can to shore, dragging her along as best as he can.]

As it is, she isn't doing well at all. Her skin is waxy, and blood is veritably gushing out of the wound in her side. There's a sizeable chunk missing, leaving ragged, fleshy ends. Coughing up water and blood, she manages to speak.]
H.. how bad is it?

Amelia's face screws up for a moment, and then suddenly her eyes fly open. She's very pale still, but the bleeding has stopped, and her wound is quickly healing over. Making no attempt to move just yet, she stares up at the faces peering over her.]
Am I dead?
