Summary: It's almost Christmas and also Friday the 13th, a terrible combination when you're Judas
Warnings: Possibly some suicidal thoughts in the first two prompts

Room 1-10
[Judas has been staying in bed the last week or so, other than one small trip to the library, the sheets drawn up to his head so no one will bother him. But today he comes back from having starved to death the day before. And finally gets up. It's finally time to go out. Maybe the death opened his eyes to what he was doing.
Feel free to try to bug him at any point in the week, before Friday he'll try to pretend he's not there if anyone comes knocking, and pretend he's asleep if any roommates are around.]

Floor 96
[When he leaves his room, he heads straight for the ninety-sixth floor. He remembers having heard staying on this floor too long starts to erase your memories. And right now, he'd like to forget. If he stays long enough, maybe he can forget everything until after Christmas. So he sits in the chair, not moving.]

Cafeteria and around
[Anyone who spots and knows Judas once he does leave, will probably immediately notice his uncharacteristic smile. While normally he constantly has a gloomy look to him, even when he's smiling, now he truly looks carefree. And it's true, he is. ...Because he pretty much remembers nothing at all. Maybe he should be a little worried about that, but he feels so good, he doesn't care. One of the first things he realises is that he's hungry, really hungry, so he heads down to the cafeteria and loads up a plate of nutrition bars.

He can also be found wandering around the tower for the next while. It'll take nearly two weeks for his memories to fully return, and it happens slowly but surely. So let me know if it's a day other than Dec. 13th, and which day, so I can figure out how much he knows!]

[Oh yes, wait, he's a cat, of course Judas won't recognize him. He meows, batting Judas' leg with a paw (claws retracted). How to make himself known? He looks up at Judas expectantly, holding his gaze.]

[He crouches down, smiling as he scratches the cat's head. A little behind the ears. He must want to be pet, right?]

[monstrueux]

[Well, Judas is right, he does want to be petted.... So he forgets himself and enjoys the scratching, purring contentedly, until--that's right, Judas!

So he meows again, gazing very inistently into Judas' eyes, as if willing him to realize the truth!]

...What's up?

[Now he's confused, it does seem like it's trying to communicate, but, it's not like Judas speaks cat...]

[monstrueux]

[Wait, he remembers what the super smart and amazing Jade suggested, so he reaches up a paw and traces a letter on Judas' hand: G]

[He blinks. G?]

Does that stand for something?

[monstrueux]

[He nods, then continues to spell.

I... L...]

[thirtybits]

...

[Hmmm...oh! He doesn't actually remember Gilles, but he did see the name on the plaque beside their door.]

Are you my roommate?

[monstrueux]

[Oh... no... does Judas not remember him? Did he forget, like Jeanne (probably? maybe?) did once? This is terrible! Gilles meows plaintively, his fur starting to puff up as he starts to get agitated.]

[thirtybits]

Ah-- I'm sorry...?! What's wrong?! Did I step on your tail?!

[OH NO HE'S SO SORRY]

[monstrueux]

[Yowling, Gilles starts to run in a circle around Judas. He's not sure what he can do to help him get his memory back! He has to help him, because Judas helped him. (What he has decided to do, however, is probably not helping.)]

[OH NO WHAT'S HAPPENING. Judas panics]

What is it, what's wrong...!!

[monstrueux]

[Gilles is also panicking! He cries. But--he should probably settle down and try to spell something! He's just so upset that it's hard to focus.

Focus, Gilles!

With a few strokes of his paw, he scrapes an F into the dirt.]

[thirtybits]

[Oh, more letters, okay...!! Judas leans in to watch the spelling happen.]

hm how'd that happen

[monstrueux]

[A few more moments, and a word appears:

F R E N D

(Considering that the word Gilles was actually spelling was "ami" before the Tower translated it for him, it's hard to imagine how he got that wrong.)]

...Friend?

[He thinks about it for a second.]

Oh, are we friends?

[He beams! That's great!]

[monstrueux]

[He nods. But woefully; he's sad, because Judas doesn't remember him, so how will he remember to help him not to kill people? Forgotten... he hates to be forgotten...

(It's all about Gilles.)]

[thirtybits]

Ah, I'm sorry, I seem to be having some amnesia.

[He reaches out to scratch Gilles' ears again.]

[monstrueux]

[Gilles tilts his head to one side and gazes at Judas sadly. That can't be a good sign. Is he cursed? What can be done about it?

Not that Gilles objects to the scratches, and he starts purring again.]

[thirtybits]

It must be tough being a cat here, it's bad enough for humans, huh...

[monstrueux]

[Gilles nods, though it's not hard at all for him so far. He's magical! What's difficult is trying not to murder people.

But he's not sure how to express that. Let's see... He tries to scratch something else in the dirt:

[Judas' eyes widen. He's not sure what that means exactly. But it can't be good.]

...w-what?

[monstrueux]

[Hmm, maybe that didn't really work. He pauses a minute, then scratches out another word above the first:

N O

That's better!]

[thirtybits]

...

[He thinks about it for a moment, considering. After a little while of contemplating, the memory suddenly hits him - he promised to help Gilles be sure he doesn't kill. Although he doesn't see what's so wrong with a cat going after some mice or whatever.]

Ah! That's right! Yes, I'll help you still!

[monstrueux]

[Gilles scampers around excitedly. Judas remembers! Is he helping him? He will be cured of his amnesia in no time with Gilles' help, surely. Hmm, what else can he help him remember?]
