Summary: It's almost Christmas and also Friday the 13th, a terrible combination when you're Judas
Warnings: Possibly some suicidal thoughts in the first two prompts

Room 1-10
[Judas has been staying in bed the last week or so, other than one small trip to the library, the sheets drawn up to his head so no one will bother him. But today he comes back from having starved to death the day before. And finally gets up. It's finally time to go out. Maybe the death opened his eyes to what he was doing.
Feel free to try to bug him at any point in the week, before Friday he'll try to pretend he's not there if anyone comes knocking, and pretend he's asleep if any roommates are around.]

Floor 96
[When he leaves his room, he heads straight for the ninety-sixth floor. He remembers having heard staying on this floor too long starts to erase your memories. And right now, he'd like to forget. If he stays long enough, maybe he can forget everything until after Christmas. So he sits in the chair, not moving.]

Cafeteria and around
[Anyone who spots and knows Judas once he does leave, will probably immediately notice his uncharacteristic smile. While normally he constantly has a gloomy look to him, even when he's smiling, now he truly looks carefree. And it's true, he is. ...Because he pretty much remembers nothing at all. Maybe he should be a little worried about that, but he feels so good, he doesn't care. One of the first things he realises is that he's hungry, really hungry, so he heads down to the cafeteria and loads up a plate of nutrition bars.

He can also be found wandering around the tower for the next while. It'll take nearly two weeks for his memories to fully return, and it happens slowly but surely. So let me know if it's a day other than Dec. 13th, and which day, so I can figure out how much he knows!]

[ Kirei can imagine why, for certain men, but the Tower pulls in all kinds of worlds. It is simpler to ask. ]

I guess it's sort of self-preservation? I don't think I can take it otherwise.

[He fidgets a little. It's not as if most don't already know, but it's still difficult for him to say. Then again, this man could be one of the ones who doesn't recognise-

His eyes fall on the cross. Ah. No, he would definitely recognise Judas' story.]

[ Of course. ]

Are you a man of God?

Uh...I revere God and Christ is certainly His son, if that's what you mean...

It is, in a simple sense.

Is that why, or is there something more personal to this time of year which dissuades you?

[He fidgets. Why bother beating around the bush. Everyone should know what a terrible person he is, he can't lead someone, especially someone wearing a crucifix, to believe he isn't.]

Kirei's eyes widen and he remains still. He has come to understand that anyone can come to the Tower, and yet... ]

[Judas nods.]

Is there any other? ...Well I guess there's Saint Judas but he goes by Jude because of me...

I did not think that possible. [ He remains still, startled. He has heard of the Tower pulling from all worlds, but this somehow seems beyond him.

He glances around the room now, more aware, and his lips curve downward. ] I see why you would choose to forget.

Right? If they really intend to save people, it shouldn't even be possible to have Judas among them. And now it means he's dead, because of me...again...

[He fails to realise the actual reason most wouldn't think it's possible, but, close enough, right?]

[ Kirei is quiet for a moment. There is something too surreal in this meeting.

He does recall, however, how he first defined the Tower: he thought of it as Hell. ]

He would not belong in a place like this.

No, that's true...

[He would certainly agree with that definition. It reminds him of Hell all too much.]

The worst crime would be forcing this on him.

Perhaps this is some form of penance.

[ Spoken as another man with a guilty conscience ]

I wish. But...I was already in Hell for nearly two thousand years, and then he forgave me. I don't believe I should be forgiven, but penance after the fact seems strange.

It may be because you cannot forgive yourself.

[ It's a lofty idea. ]

But there is no way to know.

....I hadn't thought of it that way.

[He looks thoughtful, thinking it over for a moment.]

But then what about everyone else here? Is it the same for them...?

I would not be the one to ask.

[ However, there is something to be said of the Tower's inhabitants: his own sins, and Claudia's guilt. Kariya Matou's failings, and the fallen knight that is his Servant... ]

But there is, perhaps, a pattern among those carried here.

Sin: either genuine or perceived as such due to guilt.

...Even if it's only in your mind. I see.

[Claudia is actually one of the people he would argue against that theory because of, if it weren't for that stipulation. She's a good person through and through.]

I could absolve you, but I do not believe that would rid you of the guilt of your own mind.
