A Nobody Loose In The Tower
Who: Roxas and you! Open to anyone!
What: Exploring The Tower
Where: Dormitory, Floor 10, Floor 12, Floor 14, Floor 25
When: December 14th, All day
Warnings: Roxas has questions. Without a doubt.
[Dorm/Cafeteria]
In the early morning, Roxas got up and left his room. He wandered the dormitory area towards the elevator, choosing to go down to the cafeteria and pick up a delicious nutrient bar.
[Floor 10]
After grabbing his snack, he wanders to the tenth floor where he is greeted with large aquarium like tanks. His eyes widen as he looked around in wonder at the wide variety of marine life. Roxas will not enter the water, but he will reach out and touch it.
[Floor 12]
Around lunch time, Roxas will find himself wandering onto this floor for another mindblowing experience. He will sit down on the floor, lean back on his arms and watch the show.
[Floor 14]
In the afternoon, Roxas discovered the media room. He poked at the video games until he was able to make a console game work and he picks up a controller, ready to play. He's willing to play a two person game as well, if someone can explain how it works.
[Floor 25]
It's evening now, and Roxas has found the meadow. Finished his exploration for the day, he flops down in the grass to watch the sun set.

It's evening now, and Roxas has found the meadow. Finished his exploration for the day, he flops down in the grass to watch the sun set.
Floor 14
He was all set to sit down, wrap himself up in a blanket, and play a game (which was relaxing, as much as a person can relax when a monster could pay them a visit at any time) when instead he enters the room and spots Roxas.
Sora walks in slowly, surprised - but definitely not in a bad way. He had been wanting to talk to Roxas ever since he had seen him at the big meeting about the carnival stuff. He just hadn't had the chance, and now...
Now he had had to hope that Roxas wanted to talk, too.]
Hey.
[Without warning he plops down next to where Roxas is sitting, smiling.]
Can I play, too?
Re: Floor 14
He watches him even when he plops down and sits next to him.]
Hi, Sora.
[Roxas takes a breath, searching his eyes. He's awake, and he seems okay, so maybe it's safe for him? He's not entirely sure what will happen, but he's curious.]
Yeah, you can play. I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing. Maybe you can show me?
no subject
Okay! It's not too hard [Not nearly as bad as the terminals] - a friend of mind showed me how to do it a while back.
[A much longer while than he remembers, he realizes again. He hadn't even seen that friend since he had woken up with memories missing. Sora hoped that he was around here somewhere...or that if he wasn't, he was okay.
He goes to get another controller, plugging that in while asking Roxas his next question.]
So...how long have you been here, anyway?
no subject
I'm not sure. A little bit. I should have written it down or something. What about you?
no subject
[Sora moves over a little, letting him see more clearly. Now it's just a matter of setting up the game for two players instead of one, but first Sora has something important to ask.]
I didn't forget about us running into each other before now, did I?
no subject
[Roxas appreciates the gesture, and he shakes his head at the question.]
No. Xion told me that you were here but I...I thought I might disappear if I see you.
no subject
[...wait, what?
Sora stares at Roxas with a look of total, innocent confusion. He may know who Xion is, and even who Ventus is, but he has no idea who Roxas is - at least, not in connection to him.]
Huh? Why would something like that happen?
no subject
[Roxas scratches his head. He never thought he'd have to explain it to Sora. In fact, usually people are explaining things to him.]
I mean, I guess something happened to you and I was...born. Before I came here, I was looking at you. You were sleeping and I thought I was going to disappear, so you could wake up. Namine said we are...that I'm not supposed to exist. Just you're supposed to exist, I'm a missing part of you. So I thought I'd disappear if I saw you.
[Roxas swallows a bit.]
If it's possible, could you let me stay like this?
no subject
[Wait, but how...? Sora sets the controller down before it can drop from his hands, taking a moment to digest that and think.]
Xion told me that a Nobody is a person who lost their heart to the Heartless in our world. So if you're my Nobody, then that means that you...and that I...
[The words stumble out of his mouth, and it sounds more like he's talking to himself than Roxas.]
...but that doesn't make sense...
[Well, that wasn't entirely true - some of it did, some of it didn't. He tries, rather painstakingly, to line up all of what he already knows about his future with this new piece of the puzzle. He knew that he went on a long journey. He knew that Kairi was asleep, but that she woke up somehow. He knew that he fought with Riku, because of what seemed like some huge misunderstanding.
He knew that, sometime after all of that, he was asleep, and that some group called the Organization had made Xion (even though it was still weird to think about it like that) to trap his memories so that he wouldn't wake up for some reason. He had known that something must have happened between him and Roxas, because it must have if he was so set on avoiding Sora when he was here before.
If he had been worried about disappearing, then that part, at least, made a lot more sense now.
So if Roxas was his Nobody, that must have meant that Sora lost his heart. Was that why he was asleep? So...he was asleep, and he had a Nobody, except Roxas didn't really seem like he was just him without a heart...which he couldn't be if he was asleep somewhere else, because it's not like he could be in two places at once...
...ugh, this was way too confusing!
Well, he was sure about something, at least.]
I don't really understand everything, but there's no way I'd want you to disappear, even if I was asleep or something! I won't let anything like that happen, I promise.
no subject
[Roxas nods a bit at the mention of Xion.]
I don't...I don't remember Xion, but she told me we're best friends. I'm sure she wasn't lying.
[He scratches his head a bit and tilts his head as he looks at Sora again. He seems to be thinking a lot.]
I'm not like other Nobodies though. Axel remembers everything from before he existed like this and I...have no memories from being you. So you don't have to worry about something like that.
[He smiles though, when Sora speaks about him not disappearing.]
I'd like that.
no subject
[There's a lot that he should explain, probably, and going over what he knows is a lot easier than straining to recreate what he doesn't.]
It's like I said before - I've been stuck here for a long time. The last thing I remember before coming here was this big storm and the Heartless coming to my island. I think that it was supposed to send me to another world, but I woke up here before that could happen.
And...all I know is that a lot of stuff happens to me after that. Sometimes, it's hard to figure out how all the stuff I know about fits together.
[And, most of the time, it felt more impossible than hard.]
But I'm sure about one thing - no matter what was supposed to happen, I don't want you or anyone else to have to disappear just because of me.
[He's saying a lot, and he knows that. But he lets the words fall out of his mouth uncontrolled anyway, because all of it was important. At least, he felt like it was important.]
I'm glad that I know that now, though. I met another you here awhile ago, but...we didn't talk a lot, and I never found out how we were supposed to know each other.
no subject
[Wait. When did he get to the tower? Roxas frowns, shaking his head after a minute.]
Can't say. A little bit, I think. Before that my memories were taken from me for a little while, but they came back kind of all at once so it was kind of all tangled up here for a bit. I've mostly got it sorted out now.
[Roxas looks down at the controller in his hands, trying to think about what to say.]
I guess I was afraid I'd disappear, but I know I had to with my Sora. It isn't fair. I don't think so, anyway. I've seen some of your memories and I wanted to know more about you though.

But today when Roxas left the room Romeo got out of bed and followed him, bare footed, a weasel on his head. Determined to make a new friend. He looked like Sora, and that meant that he was probably a really nice person.
