Summary: Jade finds a bunch of fish.

[ When Jade had lived on her island she had often gone spear fishing in the ocean. Fish were an easy good source for her. But at the same time Jade loved fish. They were just so cute! She hated having to kill them but she did what it took to survive. She didn't have to worry about that hear, which was nice, but to be honest Jade never expected to find fish here. Especially not like this, swimming around in tanks that seemed to have invisible glass.

Or maybe just inexistant glass when Jade unceremoniously splashes right into the water while trying to the feed the swimming schools.

But that's okay she'll just... swim around, then. Yay! ]

[For a second all the black makes her think of the Heartless (although what in the world would Heartless be doing flopping out of the water like a dead fish?) but she quickly realized after flinching that it's just a not-likely-to-attempt-to-claw-her-to-death girl.]

[Well now she feels kind of silly.]

[Coincidentally enough this appears to be one of her newer roommates, which only makes her feel even sillier.]

[Jade beams and pulls herself to her feet. She combs her fingers through her hair and squeezes the water out of it, adding more mess to the puddle on the floor.]

I was! I didn't mean to fall in, though. I was just feeding them and then it just kind of happened. Sorry if I scared you or anything!

[Naminé watches the growing mess curiously but makes no comment. It's not like this room isn't supposed to have water in it or anything right--]

Oh...! I'm sorry. Are you alright? [Not that laughing is usually a sign of not being okay, but it never hurts to check.]

--It's okay. I was-- [Well, yes, she was scared, but only for a second.] ... kind of scared, but mostly just surprised. It wasn't your fault. [Er, or rather, she didn't actually do anything wrong.]

[Jade tosses her hair back over her shoulder merrily and smiles at the small girl. She knows Naminé is her roommate though they haven't really spoken much.]

Uh-huh, I'm fine. I'm a pretty good swimmer. I lived on an island, after all.

Oh, good. [An island...? That's a funny coincidence, considering that Naminé's Somebody did, too, but that's not something she's sure she wants to bring up. Instead, she just smiles back.] It was lucky that you could swim, then. I can't. [She's never actually had the chance to try, and she hasn't been so sure that doing it in the tower is a good idea, either... although Jade seems to have proven that it's safe, at least on this floor.]

[Jade frowned and looked sympathetic.] Oh, well that's no good... I could teach you to swim sometime, if you want! Not that a fish tank is a good place to learn, though...

It's too bad there isn't a swimming pool here!

...! Really? That's... very kind of you.

[She pauses for a second.] Wait-- isn't there one on the seventh floor? ...It's... probably too deep to learn in, though. [She isn't even sure she wants to get near the edge, let alone go in when she can't already swim.]

Of course! I think being able to swim is pretty important.

[A pause, as she thinks.] Is there? It might still work... but it might be dangerous, so maybe not. You never know with this place, there might be things lurking in it.

Mm. You're probably right. Especially here. [Never know what the tower's going to throw at you, and all. Next thing you know, it could be flooded.]

[Naminé gives her time to think, watching her patiently.] I... think so. Unless something's changed. But... it is really big, and there would probably be lots of places for things to hide. There are monsters in the forest, after all. It wouldn't be so strange if there were some in the water, too.

[frogs]

[Jade still has her thinking face on, brows furrowing in thought.]

Yeah. This whole place seems like one big trap. Hmmm... maybe we can create our own swimming pool somehow. Or ask for it from whoever you ask that to.

[Jade's not the only one doing some brow knitting.]

Our own? Hm.... [Come to think of it,] --Oh! I think there might be a box for that in the cafeteria. [Or at least, that's what she figures, since she saw Roxas use it when she first arrived and all other evidence seemed to point that way.] For-- asking for things, I mean.

[Jade lights up. She looks very excited to hear this.]

Then we should both put in a request for a pool or something! Maybe we'll get one if we both ask for it.

Maybe...! [If the people who run the tower are inclined to acquiesce and not do it in a horrible way, but Naminé doesn't say anything about her doubts, since seeing Jade's excitement makes the blonde girl not want to ruin it for her.]
