002 | ❝so stand strong...❞
Characters: Lightning Farron and you.
What: Day 1 of event: After wandering a few of the more monster-infested floors and the announcement, a warrior begins to cut down more monsters and animals for their weapons and furs.
Where: All around the tower (especially the forests/close to floor 24), later Floor 23.
Warnings: Blood and the possibility of some rather dark moments. (I will update this entry with more prompts as the event goes on so as to not spam the community.)
[ A. Hunting, Day 1 ]
For most of her time in the tower, she wandered. Left with so much time to think on the situation they found themselves in, much of it she spent in trying to stockpile some furs. At least until the point she had finally got in brief contact and guarded the blue collar team. Though perhaps she should have spoke more, gotten a few contacts...
That didn't mean much right now though, not in light of that announcement. Aria, huh. She thought that one was different. Maybe she'd ask her something later.
Until then, there was one thing she knew she could help out with despite her lack of contacts aside from the few met in passing: slay fiends and monsters with precision. And that is exactly what she had decided to do. Donning the cloak she'd been given over her armor, she started in the forest floor closest to the cafeteria and began cutting down the larger game she could find. Who knows? You may have caught her slicing a deer's head off with a dead orc's sword. Or maybe fighting off an orc with fake powers and a blade she ripped from the one lying dead at her feet.
Got to make due with what you can get, and they seemed like a good idea at the time.
[B. Distributing, Day 1 ]
After a bloody day of slaying orcs and all manner of weaponed beasts for their swords and bows, she was understandably a little exhausted. Yet it grew the hardest at night, and she did her best to conserve strength when she could. Right now, however? She was more set on finding the unarmed and letting them have a selection of the makeshift Bag Of Weapons she placed beside her on the landing of the 23rd floor when it appeared (about time; she was going to go mad about the 24 -> 22 -> 24 thing).
Though it wasn't just weapons she had. No, for those interested she had some meats and was working on cleaning skin pelts for those who could form them into something warmer than cloth. Times she wished Fang were still here, other than realizing she was probably on some dead version of their old world with a crystal that no longer held Vanille's soul; she was better than her at this hunting and skinning thing.
