[Kariya gives a start. He hadn't realized he was being observed. She was so quiet. But he isn't bothered.]

Oh, no--it's all right. You don't have to apologize. It's fine. It's kind of close in here--we're all pushed in together.

Anyway--hello.

May peace be upon you.

[She returns his greeting with one that she is used to.]

I suppose we will have to stay here for some time. At least until Jason and his monsters leave us in peace.

[He's not used to the greeting, but he returns it in kind.]

It seems like it. I hope there will be something we can do to help... I don't like sitting here, doing nothing. But I know that others are out there, doing what they can.

Maybe it won't take too long. Things can change suddenly here. It's hard to say.

We are going to assist Aria. At least, that is what I believe we will do. Should Jason come here, we are her last line of defense, and she is an ally we cannot afford to lose.

[She runs a finger over her collar. She certainly hope that her belief is right.]\

But yes, it would be for the best if everything were over quickly.

That's true. We have to be ready. I have a sword--although I'm not much good at using it yet.

I hope so. I hope everyone will be all right. That's all I want. People have suffered enough already.

That is a good thing to want. But if God (Glorified and Exalted be He) will test us, surely he wishes for us to seek out an answer as well. Whatever that might be.
