Learning anew
Characters: Taiki and open
Setting: Meadow throughout the 6th, 7th and 8th.
Format: Either
Summary: Recovery, relearning some skills and a regain
Warnings: First prompt characters will probably be speaking more to Sanshi than Taiki
[6th] Taiki of course couldn't fight, but that didn't mean battles didn't affect him. As the plague doctors got more violent and the fight against Jason began his condition worsened. He kept going as long as he could, running supplies, helping where he could even without his powers, due to the transition to the new collar fluid.
In the end he had all but collapsed, he had gotten to his room and hid there, letting himself drift in and out of consciousness, without his Shirei to look after him. The days were a blur, and by the time his powers came back he was barely strong enough to manifest Sanshi. So time past, and it took days after everything was over for him to regain enough strength to stay awake for decent periods of time.
Today though Sanshi took him out of his room, carrying him on her back. She didn't feel any different even though she was now real- and Taiki wasn't sure how she wasn't real before but was now, but didn't have the energy to think about it properly. They ended up in the meadow, still Taiki's favourite place and he curled up next to her.
[7th] Taiki was stronger today, not quite sitting up on his own but more aware. He managed small, tired smiles at those he saw. And even managed quiet conversation with Sanshi and stroked Gohran who was in puppy form beside him.
Every now and again he took out the picture he had received and stared at it, feeling sad but also comforted by it. At these times Sanshi stroked his hair and murmured at him softly.
[8th] Taiki is a lot brighter today, though the bloodsickness is no where near gone, it never really is gone. Still he is sitting up and even managed to walk part of the way here himself. Now he is feeling a little better he is beginning to explore the differences, if he can find any in his real powers.
He transformed and for a while there was a black horned creature flying around the meadow until he tumbled back to the ground, transforming as Sanshi placed his cloak over him.
One thing he noticed though was how much harder it was to heal, he supposed it made sense. He had learned to heal here, with his glamour powers, and it wasn't part of his actual powers.
And so he spent the day practicing, resting curled up in Sanshi's knee when he was exhausted. If anyone was to pass during these practices they would see a dark haired child in formal looking robes stood very still before announcing "Heal" to thin air.

[ Accepting stuff like blood-sickened kirins doesn't even seem surreal to him in this Tower anymore. ]

... I see.
[ The puppy's negative reaction to the mention of death makes Hidetoshi wonder if it's intelligent enough to realize what it entrails. Maybe so. ]
As feeble they are to offer, my condolences. That can't be easy on you. I hope we'll be able to overcome this ordeal and you can return to a less bloody place.

That's right. Where are my manners? I'm Hidetoshi Odagiri. It's nice to meet you. [ Hidetoshi introduces himself in the Western order, since that's how everybody else he meets here uses it. ] And what are you called?

Hello, Taiki-chan. Just calling me 'Hidetoshi-san' is fine.

This sounded familiar, but where had he heard this before?
???
The teenager falls silent for several moments, before a sketchy, vague memory came back to him and he turned back to Taiki. ]
Your world wouldn't happen to be called the Twelve Kingdoms, would it?

[ So his hunch was correct. ]
Yes, I have. [ He nods briskly. ] Were you in attendance when Pandora decided to host an anonymous ball several months back? I recall meeting somebody who spoke much like you.

[He smiled at them and Sanshi nodded] It is nice to meet you too Hidetoshi-san
[Gohran said nothing, just nodded.]

Your caretakers? [ Hidetoshi had paused, trying to decipher the meaning of 'shirei'. Then he moved the topic along, speaking to Sanshi. ]
Did you arrive soon after Taiki-chan or did you come here first?
[ ... Did the puppy just nod? Oh, so it was intelligent. Alright then. ]

That sure was a thing. Both of Hidetoshi's eyebrows went up. ]
Like... Personae? [ Kirin Personae? ]
