Summary: The spirit of a holy sword is not happy about his situation.
Warnings: Standard Ghirahim warnings include being a creep, invading personal space, and unnecessary violence. Others will be added as they come up.

[Room 1-04, dormitory hallways]
[This is not what being sealed is like. Ghirahim knows what being sealed is like, and it does not involve waking up somewhere unknown in a tacky bodysuit.

He had been prepared for being sealed now that his role was done - was not happy about it, he could hardly imagine a fate more boring. But he'd been prepared, and all that was left to do was say his farewells to his master.

This was not the plan. And unusual complications to plans upset him, make him irritable.

Ghirahim doesn't intend to stay long in his room - just long enough to change out of the clothes he was given and into his normal attire. (He doesn't care if anyone is in the room to watch him do this.) Then, after that, he'll be out to explore the rest of the tower.

His priorities are simple: figure out what this place is, figure out if his master is here, see if something can die to let off steam.]

[Cafeteria, Floor 1]
[He takes the elevator, after finding out just how tall this tower is. He'll explore more on the way up, but the exit would of course be near the ground, if there is one.

Someone with a red collar gives him a bowl of oatmeal. It looks utterly bland at best. In fact, after he sits down and prods at it with a spoon before taking a small taste...]

This is disgusting. I won't have a single bite more of this trash.

[It's not actually that bad, but Ghirahim's standards are high. When you don't really need to eat, they tend to be.]

[Cathedral, Floor 13]
[There's no symbols of the goddess here, but it's obviously a place of worship nonetheless. Ghirahim stops his exploration here, if only to search the place.

What for, he's not sure. The goddess is not subtle in her signs. He refuses to do the interpretive dance part of translating messages - but he's always understood them. He may doubt Hylia's wisdom on many subjects, creating him and expecting him to turn out anything other than he was, but not knowing what she wants at all is...]

I wonder, if she isn't here at all, what would that make me?

[Without a hero to guide or a goddess to follow, he'd be without purpose. And it is difficult to imagine for him. So he keeps searching.]

[Graveyard, Floor 48]
[The sighting of his own name on a tombstone is what makes him pause on this floor. How strange. He's clearly alive, and in no need of a grave marker.

He might have overlooked that, but he spots a 'Link' on a nearby headstone. And when he goes to examine that one, he spots another grave with the same name.

Ghirahim searches the entire floor and counts two occasions of his name and ten of his master's. The numbers are what leave him at a loss. No man, not even the chosen hero, has died ten times. He knows that the markers mean something else, but he doesn't know what, and that leaves him profoundly unhappy.

What has happened to his master?

Ghirahim stays on this floor, sitting on a Link's tombstone, until darkness falls.]

[Anywhere, night]
[Night brings with it creatures meaning to kill anyone they sight.

Excellent. He was getting incredibly frustrated with this situation he's in, and there's nothing like bloodshed to cheer him up.

He slays monster after monster with daggers in the throat or his own swordplay. Most of them aren't challenging, and he toys with them before ending the game. It's not as fun when you can't see the fear in their eyes when they know they're outmatched, but it's something to keep him occupied.]

I can tell that much just from these graves.

[He's still by a Link's gravestone.]

[Romeo nods] There have been lots of Link's. There was lots of them here all at the same time.

[swordcrazy]

What a confusion that must have been. [He chuckles, spirits momentarily lifted.] I regret not being there to see it.

[myblueskies]

Maybe you will get to meet them all, people sometimes come back.

[swordcrazy]

They will. [That is a fact, as far as he's concerned.] You can rest assured that I will greet each and every one of them, even if their first instinct is to stab me in the face.

[myblueskies]

Link is a nice person, all of them. They won't stab you in the face.

[swordcrazy]

I did say instinct and not action, didn't I? No one knows better than me how soft they are.

[myblueskies]

They are really brave and strong.

[swordcrazy]

I know that. Don't think you have to inform me of my own master's virtues and flaws.

[myblueskies]

Your master [He blinked] I didn't know that mister Link was your master.

[swordcrazy]

The last 'Ghirahim' to grace the tower with his presence had a different master, I'm told.

[myblueskies]

Did he? [Romeo thought about that, because it had been a really long time ago] Yes I remember him saying he had a really powerful boss, but he wasn't here and there were lots of Link's here then so it couldn't have been them!

[swordcrazy]

His boss is indeed powerful, but power is all he has going for him. No courage, no wisdom, and nothing that would encourage my loyalty. I pity his sword.

[She was a skilled opponent, but hardly had a personality of her own.]

[myblueskies]

Why do you pity his sword, sir? [Romeo blinked] He was definitely loyal I think, and he was smart so there must have been some courage and other good things about his boss or he wouldn't of followed him.

[swordcrazy]

Was he? Perhaps I'll meet him one day and we can discuss this with each other like civilized people do.

[Translation: they'd try to kill each other on sight.]

[myblueskies]

Yes, maybe you can. They might come here soon.

[swordcrazy]

I'd rather see my master, personally.

[myblueskies]

Well maybe he will come too!

[swordcrazy]

If nothing else, I have to credit you for your optimism, child. Most humans lose it quickly.

[myblueskies]

That's just because they find it hard to keep their spirits up. It's really important to know how.

[swordcrazy]

So it is. Hopelessness is a more efficient killer than even I am.

[myblueskies]

Yes, when people don't got hope they just give up and that's really sad.

[swordcrazy]

They deserved that fate if they were weak enough in the first place.

[Full of sympathy, Ghirahim is not.]

[myblueskies]

But you got to protect people who are weak.

[swordcrazy]

[Hmmph.] No one is forced to protect anyone else. [Unless you're a hero's sword.] The weak rely on the kindness of others to survive, and they'll find that's available in limited quantities.
