ITP: Totally-not-Slender
Characters: [AU5] Saber and Nealfire
Setting: Media Room, before the explosions
Summary:Because the players thought it was funny. Neal does his damnedest to beat the Slender clone on the terminals while Arturia keeps guard over him while the paranoia mounts. Will they unleash something on the Tower? Nope!
Warnings: Possibly cursing and a big buildup with nothing happening.
Arturia stood on the media floor, a sword in hand as she waited for Neal to arrive. Hopefully, this game wouldn't end in something horrible being unleashed, but there was no telling how it would go. True, if that thing was unleashed they could get all kinds of help in subduing it. If not, then at least it was one less thing to be afraid of in this tower, the paranoia likely lessening now that they would know it's safe.

"You ever wonder where this came from? You think the children who were here before us played it too?"

"Remember: Don't turn away unless I tell you something is here. If you need me to check, tell me. I will be right here to protect you the whole time."

Maybe the monster was actually based off of something in the tower, something that had so far remained just out of sight. This time around, he was having some trouble finding the first note, but at least the monster was staying out of the way, too.

"A bit, but you cannot underestimate one's desire for something to do while bored."

"Nothing is here yet."

It would probably still be frustrating without the paranoia itching at the back of his mind. "Guess it might be creeping about still. Maybe you have to beat it and it comes out of the screen. I saw a movie like that, once."

Arturia had never taken the time to watch movies until she came here. They didn't exist yet in her original time and both times she'd been in the twentieth century, she had been too busy with other things to bother watching a film.

The second and third note were relatively close to each other, and he grabbed them both before continuing his story.
"Anyway there's this big thing where the woman is trying to figure out what's going on. But I guess that's not the relevant part. At the end of the film, the girl who promised to kill her comes crawling out of the TV towards the person she'd shown the video to, killing him."
And at that, the creature in the game makes an appearance, causing Neal to yelp loudly before he quickly bolts into a different direction.

Unlike in this place.
"Why did the girl show hi--" And then Neal yelped, Arturia's hand went to the hilt of her blade and she looked around the media room to be sure they were still alone.

He was quiet as he continued to search for the next note for a while, still embarrassed. "I guess it might be strange to be nostalgic for horror films after a year of this place."
