Summary: Veronica's going about her business.

Dorms

[How long had it been since they plugged themselves into that machine and ended up in that... place? What could it even be called anything other than that?

It didn't matter regardless, she had gotten out of it unscathed. Well, moderately unscathed. Her strength had been returning quite slowly. It bothered her to no end, but that's how it is sometimes.

She poked her head out through her room's door, eyeing the hallways beyond. Slowly, the bodyguard stepped out, dressed in different attire than usual, though minus the gas mask. She might as well do some patrolling, since Rick was more than likely feeling weak. And this'll be a good chance to try her new outfit.]

Floor 90

[This floor was one that Veronica frequented for a few reasons. She'd found this floor the first time she arrived and, despite the mermaid monsters, she found it to be quite pleasant.

So she sat on the sand, watching the water slowly go towards and away from the sand.

And then she disappears. As in, she blinks out of existence. She'll be back in a minute though.]

Floor 74

[This wasn't a floor that Veronica went to very often, but she was feeling adventurous despite her weakened state. Still dressed in her new suit, blades at the ready, she made her way through the shimmering caverns, her eyes adjusting to the dark quite easily.

Of course, there were creepers everywhere now. And one exploded behind her.

Floor 39

[Veronica's going to be at the gym for a while, using the workout equipment that hasn't already been destroyed to try and build some muscle. Even if she was feeling weaker, that didn't mean she should sit around and do nothing.]

[That's about half sarcasm.]

Somehow, I really doubt you know what gods are actually like.

[she poked at his chest again, a hand moving closely to his mask.]

But y-you're going t-to prove me wrong, a-aren't you.

[He slowly leaned away as she got closer.]

I always prove everyone wrong in the end.

Maybe you w-won't?

[She looked up at him hopefully, not coming any closer.]

H-how about it?

It's not worth it, trust me. Besides why do you want to see my face so bad.

Because I want to. I-I've shown you m-my face, it's o-only right, if w-we're partners that I s-see yours.

B-besides, it's l-like a t-trust thing. You h-have permission to kill me if I-I use y-your face for nefarious purposes.

Oh I would do more than just kill. There is an escape in death. There is no escape from the things I would do to a turncoat.

[A shrug of the shoulders.]

You are the most trusted person here, yes. But again, tell me why you want to see it. Why it's such a big deal for you. You're not missing much. I'm not Tom Cruise, or Elvis under here.

[She frowned, giving another shrug.]

I j-just want t-to, okay? You're... a friend, I guess, and I care about y-you. S-seeing your face would... mean I c-could find you if anything r-really bad happened. O-or we could both meet incognito.

And I d-don't care about looks. [She gestured frantically to her stitches and scars.]D-do I look l-like I care about looks?

Maybe, maybe.

[She isn't being deterred is she.]

So? W-what do you say?

That depends, will it get you to stop?

[He sighed and looked around and about to make sure no one was looking.]

We're alone. A-and it's t-too dark for anyone to see f-from a distance.

B-but right now, I promise it's okay.

[Notice how he is purposefully stalling.]

Promises are meaningless.

[Still he is going to very slowly undo his straps.]

Trust me then.

[Damn, this is like the slowest, most awkward striptease ever.]

I don't trust.

[He can actually strip if you want. Though once those straps are taken care of he was going to just as slowly slip it up, off over his head until his mouth was showing.]

[That would be.... something she wouldn't be entirely against...

Of course, she's now on the edge of her seat.]

Then y-you w-wouldn't have accepted m-my help months ago.

[Pervy Veronica.]

I just needed an assistant.

[And now his nose is showing! Oh get ready for the big one!]

[She's a teenaged girl, cut her some slack okay?]
