★ 1 - FLOOR FOUR

She hasn't slept in her room for a couple of nights - the sofas on the lounge level are infinitely more comfortable and it's not nearly as stuffy as that ugly little room. She's been getting more and more tired, mistakenly chalking it down to the fact she hasn't had soda for a few days.

Either way she's lying on a sofa, head lolling off the edge of it, possibly snoring just a little bit.


★ 2 - KITCHEN

Her shift in the kitchen was supposed to start half an hour ago. But she stayed up all night making plans to get out of this place playing her gameboy and so when she sits down and rests her head on her crossed arms she can't help but doze off...

Romeo blinked in confusion, "How can there be two of you..."

She shrugged. "You tell me. It's a... he me. Uh. A male me."

Romeo blinked again, "So a you but a man how does that work? How do you know it is you? It might be just someone who looks like you?"

"He looks like me and he talks like me and he acts like me! And there's male versions of lots of my friends. I don't think they're impostors..."

"Maybe he is your brother." Because Bianca and Alfredo looked very much the same, and acted similar, it didn't mean they were the same person. "A brother who you never met before."

She paused. "That wouldn't really work..."

"Why not miss?"

"I dunno if you'd understand, kid. It's pretty complicated."

"Oh," Romeo nodded, he was used to adults assuming he wouldn't understand things, "I'm Romeo by the way miss!"

"That's a pretty cool name! I'm Ameri - uh. Amelia!"

"Thak you miss, Amelia is a nice name!" He smiled again, "Are you very tired?"

"Well yeah, that's why I was sleeping!"

Romeo nodded slowly, "But why wern't you in bed miss!"

There's a long silence as she tries to come up with a reason.
