we're lost inside this darkness
Characters:
craaaaaaaazy8s and
romcomedian
Setting: Room 1-12, backdated to Nov 9th!
Format: Action
Summary: Vriska has decided to kill Karkat's lusus to save them from having to feed her. It doesn't go as planned.
Warnings: Huge fucking spiders, lusus death, murder, blood, etc.
[Vriska steels herself for the claim she'd made to Karkat. She's going to kill Spidermom. It's not like she hasn't done it before. She couldn't think about the fact that she had already been half dead at the time and an easy target to kill.
It's fine- Karkat had said she was smaller. Vriska can easily take her. Her grip tightens on her dice, jostling them in her hand to hide the fact that it is trembling from a deep-set fear. She had thought she was done with her lusus. And here she was having to deal with someone else's. Someone else's Spidermom. Was she never going to be rid of this responsibility? Well, hopefully this time will be the last once she kills her.
And maybe it will smooth things out with the other cerulean. Maybe it will make up for the things she did. Somehow she doubts it. Doubts it like going after Jack would clean away the slate of horrible things she'd done in the Veil. But if she can just convince herself it will help a little, that it will make her a hero, make people hate her less... She is willing to kill Spidermom for that, it makes her fear a little less intense. What's there to be afraid of? She's just a stupid spider and Vriska's the one in control here! She's God Tier. She can handle her lusus now, no problem. No need to cater to her disgusting diet.
She takes a deep breath, stopping at the door to Karkat's room, staring at it and knowing what's waiting for her on the other side. Her eyes flick down to her hand, loosening her grip, trying to look relaxed and unfazed. One of them has to be, and Karkat's already proven to be a total wriggler about it. She's as ready as she'll ever be. She straightens, reaching out and grabbing the knob and throwing the door open.]
Alright, Vantas. You can quit your bitching! The great Vriska Serket is here to handle allllllll your dumb lusus problems!
[She doesn't look around immediately, but she can see the shadow of it out of the corner of her eye. She tenses slightly.]

no worries darling
[Her whole body tensed and she whirled to face her- no, his lusus. Lit like a live wire, she grinned and it was just the smallest bit maniac. She cocked her head, dice poised between her fingers.]
Bring it on! I've been waiting to do this forever!

Not to protect him.
Not a moment later, one of her giant legs shot forward at Vriska, seeking to impale her straight through one of her legs to try and incapacitate her.]

8^y
It's not what she's going for, she regrets not rigging the roll now for the Guillotine de la Marquise, but whatever. Ancestral Awakening will do the job too. She grips the sword and flies forward, eyes flickering over each of the legs, preparing to dodge if she tries to strike again. She's not afraid of facing Spidermom at her best.
She's not.]

Both legs waver and dance like bait, all eight eyes blinking in an alternating pattern. Again she roars in a threatening fashion, raising two more legs as she leans back into the web.
Meanwhile, Karkat continues to watch, half traumatized in the corner.]

She shoves the thought away. It's not the time for second guessing and doubts. This is for the good of the tower, and the good of everyone in it. And maybe she'll be a hero for it. She grinds her teeth together, flitting a little closer, before her wings suddenly flap quicker and she seems to vanish out of sight for a second with the speed before she heads for Spidermom. Forget the legs, she's aiming for an eye.]

She throws herself forward, swinging her sword at a leg to try to maim her again. Though she'll never admit it, she's silently begging that it works.]

As cerulean blood began to soak into the flooring, it would be joined by a strange, pained baying -- a cry for help echoing from the lusus' throat, which Karkat was struggling to ignore.
Despite how much he hated feeding her, it was still his lusus. The mutual relationship of survival was enough to drive him to death by guilt. Or it would have been, if he hadn't managed to close off his hearing.]

She can't be bothered by it. She tries to shut herself off from it as she lunges at her again to attempt to stab her again. But all she can think of is how she had to kill her lusus too and it's awful. She feels sick.]
Just die already!

Karkat is very glad Vriska is focused, because he's curled up in a ball on the other side of the bed, staring at the floor like a huge wriggler.]

She fumbles a bit, trying to get her bearings back and grabbing for her weapon again. She tests her wings to make sure they're working properly before taking back to the air. She's going to have to be more tactile about this if she's going to kill her with the least amount of injuries.]
Vantas, you better- be grateful for this!

She moves forward again, aiming for another eye. Maybe if she can blind her... but 8 eyes is a lot to go through, it would take time. Unless she can slash out a few of them at once. Which she's going to try for.]

But she doesn't flee. Her charge is still nearby, much to his dismay.
Its getting messy. Cerulean is everywhere, but Spidermom's thrashing isn't slowing down.]
