[He’ll only stay in this room as long as he’s forced here, he resolves. Being caught so completely, staring up at an unfamiliar ceiling, is neither pleasant nor comforting. In fact, if he allowed himself these thoughts anyway, it rather terrifies him. Nothing like being dropped into an unfamiliar and likely dangerous situation with a body that won’t move. His mind reels as he waits: Gotta be a highblood plot, right? But how would they have found him… hmm. And what about his cavalreapers? Everything feels off-kilter and strange, and the very moment he can, he slips across the communal respiteblock floor, wings half opened, and tries the door]

[AND LATER he’s moving carefully through each floor, suspicious and irritated. His head is held at an odd angle as he explores, lowered slightly so he’s forced to peer up through his brows to see, but his horns carve a sharp, dangerous arc through the air, settled at just about goring level. It’s not really the best threat, but he’s made them work for him in the past when he’s been desperate. And hey, if this isn’t a desperate situation here, without his soldiers or his beasts or his weapons, then he doesn’t know what is! So yeah... watch out, guys… This troll fit to snap at the first thing that looks at him wrong…]

[He... doesn't believe you! But whatever, he'll play along]

[Makes a face that, like all of his expressions, goes unnoticed under his hat.] Not really. It's just another point that makes me not human. Or... you know. A living orga- [How does the word go again?] Organisism.

Organism. [...wait lksjdfl what]

You're not alive...? Are you a robot? [Leaning down towards him a little, curiously]

Organism, right. [Adjusts his hat, meeting Summoner's gaze steadily.] I'm a doll. A black mage 'golem'. [The words are spat out with venom not normal to his childlike personality, but then, anything to do with his creation and Kuja's armies made him hissy.] Made from "the dregs of souls" to serve in an army. I woke up though, and I was never in the army. Not like the others.

[Oh... Oh. So maybe he's not sure about the mechanics of what he just said (black mage golem? the dregs of souls?), but the tone of voice is so familiar he actually... forgets his own irritation for a moment]

What did you do? When you got away...

[Scratches his head.] Actually... I don't know. I think my Granpa found me and raised me. Umm... he might have been planning to eat me actually, but still. He took care of me. But then he died... But after that I met Puck and Zidane and Princess Garnet and lots of friends so it's not so bad! [Perks up a bit, even if he's still got the niggling worry of what might have happened to them.]

[Hmm... Well at least it has a happy ending...! Gives him a little understanding smile]

Good. I'm glad... things turned out okay for you.

[Nods hard enough for his hat to flop and wobble dangerously before slumping again.] I'm just worried what might have happened to them... I mean, we were going after Kuja - uh, the guy who made the black mage army - but he was going to destroy the crystal and now I'm kind of scared he might have succeeded and that's how the world got destroyed- [Trails off and stares at the ground.]

[Shakes his head! Even if Vivi can't see him looking down like that! He sounds extraordinarily confident: ]

No one's world has been destroyed. It's just a trick, you know? Whoever's in charge is trying to uh... demoralize you. [Don't fall for it!]

[Looks up hopefully. Summoner, you've got the makings of a new fanboy in front of you, be warned.] R-Really? You think so?

D-Do you think we'll be able to get back someday?

There is absolutely no doubt, I think, that we will get back very soon...!

[...this may or may not be an exaggeration, but he certainly sounds that sure!!]

[He sounds sure enough that Vivi's eyes are BEAMING like headlights. Yup, fanboy acquired.] Th-thank you Mr. Summoner!

U-Um, you look like you can protect yourself... but the Tower can get scary so uh... if you ever need help, I-I'll do what I can, okay?

[But he is... a little surprised by his offer! He is used to it lksdf taking longer then that]

[Nods, hat just about to fall off from the enthusiastic gesture.] I will!

... Are you going to try to break the wall now?
