Summary: The feeding routine has started. Onto victim number 2.
Warnings: Huge spiders, death, murder, blood, etc

[Vriska is trying the fairy dust trail again, since it worked so spectacularly the first time. She knows she can't keep using the same method, but it's fine for now. No one will get suspicious yet. Unless Terezi caught wind of it, but no- Let's not think about the consequences if Terezi were to figure it out.

She knows she's digging her grave if the other troll finds out what she's doing, but what other choice does she have? A few sacrificed lives (and they even revive the next day!) was better than a hungry spider on a rampage through the entire tower. And it was definitely better than getting eaten herself. Besides, she's already been fed to a Spidermom once in the tower, with the phantoms. She doesn't want to repeat that again.

So she's after another victim now, wings flapping furiously to drop a heavy trail of fairy dust up the staircase to the forest. She hasn't picked one out this time, but she's sure someone else will be curious enough to follow the trail. After all, there's nothing scary or unsettling about it. Just a trail of blue, glittery dust on the air. Once she's made her trail she perches in her hiding place again, waiting. She doesn't bother looking for Karkat, she knows he's probably around somewhere watching but she can't stand looking at him during these times. Too irritated by the fact that she's the one feeding her and doing the dirty work. She's the one everyone will accuse if anyone finds out about it. She knows what she's getting into and she hates it.]

[Molly follows the fairy dust all the way into the forest. Makes sense, she thinks, that fairies would be kept in the forest! They can make all the woodland creatures magical and maybe they'll start singing or something. That would be awesome, she bets singing animals would make people happy!]

[Molly hears the rustling of Spidermom and approaches eagerly, wanting to see where the fairy lives. Instead? GIANT SPIDER]

[Vriska almost winces when she sees who shows up. She talks to Molly all the time, and she had never even considered her to end up being one of her victims. But there's no going back now. No blowing her cover so early on.

She leans back, further into the foliage to keep herself hidden as her eyes cut away to the side to avoid watching it.

It's fine. Molly was dumb enough to follow her trail here so she deserves this. Right? Right. Yeah.]

[Karkat had only talked to this girl a little, so he can't help but smirk a little when he sees her appear in front of Spidermom, because the conversations grated on his nerves.

Spidermom leaned down to survey Molly. Tiny meal, but a meal was a meal. She promptly lifts one leg to try and entice her toward the web.]

So cooool. [Giant spider. Sweeeeet.]

[Molly takes a step closer to Spidermom, she's not concerned at all for her safety, she's invulnerable so the thought of being hurt by this giant spider never crosses her mind. Then again, being invulnerable won't help when you're being eaten, but this thought never crosses her mind]

Hi Miss Spider, do you have a name? [closer, closer to the spider]

[Vriska grinds her teeth together, trying not to listen. Why on earth was she so fearless in the face of a spider like that? Vriska can't understand, doesn't really want to try to understand it. She's starting to think it would be better idea to get the hell out of there once she's lured a victim, but she's too stubborn to abscond and not see it through.

Even Karkat was showing up for it, so she had to be there.]

[Karkat also knows what's coming, so he makes a point to look elsewhere once he hears Molly start trying to talk to her. Once the girl is close enough, Spidermom promptly bears down on Molly and attempts to snap her jaws straight around her to inject that paralytic poison so that she might swallow her whole.]

[Molly's instincts consists of well I'm invulnerable so they can't really hurt me, so she doesn't really seem phased by the giant spider attempting to eat her. In fact, she may think this is a chance to play with a giant spider. Who would pass up that opportunity? So while others may have struggled against Spidermom, Molly isn't. She's rather enjoying herself, but knowing that her skin can't be pierced that easily totally helps her remain calm. Spidermom would need to catch her off guard and swallow her whole while conscious. Watch out for her super strength though!]

[Vriska glances over to the display, and quickly glances away. Can't Spidermom just hurry it up? She doesn't want to be here all day waiting for the lusus to finish her dinner. She also doesn't want this growing feeling of guilt at feeding someone that she knows to her.]

[Spidermom actually appears rather baffled and frustrated that she can't bite Molly, so she spits her out for a moment and backs off, trying to reassess the situation.

Her jaws are big enough to swallow her whole, so she sits and waits for Molly to make another approach.

Karkat, unlike Vriska, simply keeps paling at the sight in front of him. Spidermom can't eat her. What if she gets away?]

[Aww Molly was having the fun with the spider! So she just pets her instead. Molly's warning lights weren't yet going off. She knew the forest was dangerous but, well, short of super villains and her friends in peril Molly often doesn't register danger.]

[The thought of being swallowed whole by a giant spider never crosses her mind.]

[When Vriska glances back she has to seriously hold back the scream of frustration threatening to come out of her mouth. She's fucking petting her. REALLY. REALLY????????

She drags her fingers through her hair, tugging purposefully on it to try to calm herself as she stares down at them.]
