Setting: Floor Four, the lounge room.
Format: I'll adapt to match.
Summary: Spain is calmly but surely freaking out about the strange voice-text she heard at the computers.

She had passed by the computers when that strange text appeared on one of the screens. Curious, she had wandered closer, and then the voices were heard.

She squeaked, and ran down to the lounge room. Now, she sits in one of the corners, trying her best not to get worked up over the strangeness.

'iseeyouiseeyouiseeyou...' it's echoing in her head, and she whimpers, trying to block out the sound. 'mommymommymommy'...

Taiki had seen heard the noise completely accidently, he had been walking past a computer when the sound had started and he had seen the strange text. He was really scared and was walking through the tower holding Sanshi's hand.

He entered the lounge trying to stop himself being scared, he saw the woman in the corner and his eyes widened. He froze, glancing at Sanshi to make her disapear back into the shadows since he knew she scared the woman.

He wanted to run, but she looked so scared. He didn't go closer but spoke quietly, "Are... are you alright... Sorry..."

Looking up at the voice, Spain gasped, biting her lip when she recognized who it was. The young child-beast who had frightened her before, but now he looked just as afraid of her as she was of him. Perhaps she was being too paranoid at that time, and didn't give him a chance...

"I'm... not feeling well... I'm sorry, I must have hurt you the other time by calling you things."

Taiki clutched his cloak around him and looked at the woman fearfully, he wanted to help her though. He would have to do it alone since she was so scared of Sanshi.

"Oh... it's alright you didn't really hurt me..." Just a little bit, but he felt worse for scaring her, "I'm sorry I scared you... do you need help?"

"I'm alright, just a little shaken up..." she mumbled, even as she keeps the pillows between herself and the child. "I'm fine on my own, thank you."

Taiki nodded, he was shaken as well but he noticed the pillows and realised that he was probably just scaring her more. He should leave before he upset her more. "Oh, alright, Sorry for bothering you..."

Spain kept quiet, still watching him carefully. Without the effect of the tower, he didn't seem all that bad, just a small, scared boy who needed reassurance. Slowly, she sets aside the pillows, patting the empty space beside her.

"I'm sorry for earlier, querida... I... guess I wasn't in the right state of mind."

Taiki was about to turn to go when she spoke, he blinked at her and moved forward cautiously. "I...I'm sorry too they were making me feel everybody wanted to hurt me," he said quietly. "I didn't mean to be rude to you."

"I'm sure you didn't mean it..." Up close, the boy is pretty innocent, and Spain's motherly instincts are on high. "The tower, it does things to people."

"Yes..." His voice cracks a bit so he doesn't speak for a moment. He is trying not to hate himself too much for allowing Gohran to kill, and for leading Eridan to his death, but it is difficult.

"Did... sorry did they make you think bad things too?"

"They made me kill my dearest daughter."

And that's all she said before she sighs into her pillow and looks away.

Taiki looked sad, what was this place that made people not just murder but murder their children. "That's horrible," he gasped, "Sorry... I didn't mean you... them... they..." He pressed his lips together. "They shouldn't do things like that..."

Spain sighed again, shaking her head. "I know what you mean. I didn't want to, but there was something that clouded my judgement..."

Taiki nodded again, "They... sorry... they did that to me as well... it was... fighting me..."

Another sigh, and Spain allowed a smile to grace her features. "Neither of us wanted to hurt the other, isn't that right?"

Taiki nodded, everything was so complicated, he knew that violence was always wrong and hurting others was wrong and he knew he had to try and stop violence from happening. But he wasn't strong enough to fight against the people who could control others to be violent. He hadn't even managed to stop them controling him.

Maybe if Keiki were still here he could stop them, or if Enki were here. They would be more use than Taiki. "I want to go home," he murmered quietly.

"Everyone wants to return home, querido." She held out her arms slightly, beckoning him close for a hug. "Come here, my dear. At least a hug would ease the hurt."

"I know... I'm sorry..." He hadn't meant to sugest he was the only one who was scared or homesick. He went closer though, even though he didn't really know this lady he went to sit in her arms and wrapped his arms around her.

"Sorry..." He whispers again.

"Shh, shh..." Spain comforted him, rocking him slightly as she petted his jet-black hair. "I can't promise it being all right, but I can at least reassure you that I will do whatever it takes to protect everyone."

Taiki held her tightly, glad for the comfort even though he didn't really know her. "Thank you... erm... I want to protect everyone too... it's just... so hard..."

"Isabel, that's my name," she whispered, still petting his hair. "Shh, just rest now."

"Isabel, it is nice to meet you," he gave a faint smile and closed his eyes for a moment feeling safe. "Erm... thank you..."

"It's alright, querido." She continued rocking and humming, comforting the child in her arms.

Taiki smiled again and let himself be comforted, even though he was suposed to be an adult and not a child he was frightened and this place made him sad. After a few moments he looked up and smiled, "Thank you... you're very kind Isabel..." Especially since he had been so rude to her the first time they met as well.
