Summary: Spain is calmly but surely freaking out about the strange voice-text she heard at the computers.

She had passed by the computers when that strange text appeared on one of the screens. Curious, she had wandered closer, and then the voices were heard.

She squeaked, and ran down to the lounge room. Now, she sits in one of the corners, trying her best not to get worked up over the strangeness.

'iseeyouiseeyouiseeyou...' it's echoing in her head, and she whimpers, trying to block out the sound. 'mommymommymommy'...

"...Cold? No. Of course not..." As a matter of fact, Ienzo had spent much of his life in rooms which were much colder than they had absolute reason to be, so if this place was a low temperature he probably wouldn't find any problem with it. What did give him pause, however, was Spain's reaction; she immediately set out an extensive list of solutions for a problem that didn't even exist. Why was this?

At that moment, something occurred to him, a question he had meant to ask her. "...Ah, Spain..."

Pause.

"...There was a discussion on the network about a... question and answer session between tower residents and the staff. Were you, by any chance, present for that...?"

Well, she did have the longest (confirmed) stay time of anyone he knew.

"That's good to hear." She smiled again, straightening up to leave. That's when Ienzo asked her the question, and she paused, head tilted.

"A question and answer session... oh, you meant the one held in the cafeteria at that time? Sí, I was there... What is it that you wanted to know?"

"...According to someone else who was there... the owners of this place said that these collars were meant for 'stabilization'. Did they elaborate on that?"

She tried to recall what was said, but it was quite a while ago, and her memory was very fuzzy on the details.

"I doubt they elaborated... They're very secretive, even from day one."

Frowny frown frown. Of course she might not remember as well... he rather doubted there was anyone who did. If they had specified more about it, any more, he would have been able to test That Theory -- the one Kanaya and he had made about astral projection. Bizarre when taken out of context, but...

"It's no problem, Ieño," she replied quietly, petting him on the head again before she moved to head down to the cafeteria. Perhaps she would be able to do some more thinking in the cafeteria after she had her fill of food.

He nodded silently. When she began walking down, he waited where he was for a few moments before falling into step behind her; he watched the back of her head, though, paying more attention to her than anything else. He wasn't sure if he was allowed to accompany her or anything...

Down the stairs, and towards the cafeteria. Spain was lost in her thoughts as she instinctively piled food for herself and went to sit down somewhere, surprise in her features when she noticed Ienzo trailing along behind her.

"Ah, Ieño..."

...He should have left her.

"...I had thought you still wanted me to come with you," he said, tone expertly hiding his feelings -- again. "I will leave, if you like."

"I don't mind if you didn't come with me, querido," she murmured, sighing softly. She's been sighing a lot, she realised. It must be the tower's influence.

"I might need some time for myself, gracias..."
