Characters:
forcingrins and you
Setting: dormitories/random hallways
Format: starting with brackets but I'll match to whatever!
Summary: The Neophyte wakes up and 1NV3ST1G4T3S.
Warnings: none yet
[It's jarring, to have a thousand hands dragging you toward a gallows and an unjust fate one second and to be paralyzed on a flat (albeit somewhat soft) surface the next. Jarring and, if she's being honest with herself, terrifying. Horrifying. She forces herself to breath as the seconds tick by because it's all she can do, and after a thirty-second long eternity she's free. She practically jumps out of the bed but her assailants are gone, as is the courtblock and all of its inhabitants.
Instead she's wearing unfamiliar clothes and is lacking in the accessories that make her feel herself--her glasses are gone, leaving her yellow-teal eyes naked. So is her cane, and her gloves. Her boots. The chain with the forbidden symbol that she wears close to her heart. A cursory examination of the room leads her to the letters at her bedside and, even better, the chest at the foot of her bed, where she is relieved to find all of those items she was missing and more. Before she leaves the room she'll dress in attire that is proper for a legislacerator and poke around the living space she's found herself in.]
[And once she's done in her room she'll venture out, appropriately dressed and even more appropriately cautious, exploring her new environment while she tries to decide whether she believes the contents of the letters or not. It can be unwise to interrupt a legislacerator's investigation, but in this case a little interruption might be beneficial to her work.]

I told you they experimented on us, what more do you want, huh? Do you want the creepy and disgusting little details of it or something?? How morbid!

[Vriska flutters out of the way, honestly thinking she's about to have an adult troll attacking her. When she does, it's hard to hide the small sigh of relief.
Sure, she can take Terezi but it takes effort. She doesn't know that she can face off against her ancestor and have the same result.]

I recommend you do the same.

Best to avoid this adult troll like she does with the rest of them.]
