Summary: Eridan is doing his stupid maid job. Later, he gets eaten by a big spider.
Warnings: At least PG for swearing. Maybe higher for being eaten by a freaking spider.

Eridan hates his job. He feels he has good reason. HE shouldn't be made to clean the rooms of others. Of all those in the Tower, he least of all deserves that hateful job. Menial. As if he were no better than a lower troll. He's royal, a Prince, and yet here he is, sneaking from room to room and cleaning every fucking surface before gathering the sheets into his arms and bringing them down to dump them in the laundry room for later. He's alone. He can't stand the thought of his lusus watching him do this, even to help.

Of course, he can't always manage to choose an empty room.

And who would be waiting but the other despicable cerulean, pacing and wringing his hands on anticipation. Or he had been, shortly before Spidermom had decided to pin him to the floor with her webbing to stop him. Now he was just trying to get it all undone before Vriska came back.

It didn't work. But suddenly it didn't matter because...

"You brought a troll?" Karkat hissed, color draining from his face as he struggled to keep his voice down.

Vriska knew that probably wasn't a good enough answer, and she sighed, flipping her hair over her shoulder as she glanced down at him. She hadn't meant to bring trolls to spidermom, it definitely hadn't been on her list of victims but. Well... If any of the trolls deserved it, Eridan was high on the list of douchebags that needed to get fed.
