Summary: The Grand Highblood is not amused by the food but whatevs?
Warnings: The Grand Highblood.

It's almost comical how the highblood is hunched over at a table that seems a bit small for him and eating a bowl of oatmeal(????). His face doesn't show his opinions of the sludge, but he doesn't seem to be hating or loving it. Surprisingly neutral, which is saying something if you happened to know the nature of this particular highblood.

He's pretty distracted, so you'll have a 50/50 chance of getting on his good side or his don't-give-a-fuck side. Then again, he is pretty unpredictable.

Do you dare approacheth the grazing adult troll in his not-so-natural habitat?

It wasn't so much that Ivan dared, as Ivan didn't see much of a problem with sitting next to the adult troll. He had seen strange things in the tower--strange things happened every day, and the Grand Highblood might have been the strangest, but it wasn't as if he hadn't seen a troll before. After all one of the people he roomed with was one, albeit a young one whose horns resembled that of a cows. But regardless he settled down next to him, eating his oatmeal without much thought.

It's okay! C: I didn't even notice. Haha. xD

The Russian looked back at the other, pausing with his spoon part of the way to his mouth, brows furrowing slightly, and it took him a moment to decipher what the troll had said in the first place--really he was swearing worse than America--but still that didn't really help him see the problem.

"Chto?" There was a pause then, "Human? Ah, not so much. Nation. Though I am not sure they are having those where you are from."

Ivan didn't seem to realize the effect that his accent had on the adult troll, cocking his head to the side.

"That is very strange; it is something we are finding very important," he replied, smiled a little and relaxed, putting his spoon back in his bowl. "A nation is... ah... a country. A group of people that all have common culture, under a... ah, government of some sort, occupying a certain bit of land."

Ivan laughed a little and nodded. "Nyet, I do not look it, myself, but. I am. Representing it? Feeling what my land is feeling, and what my people are feeling. Ah, or was. I am cut off since I was getting to this tower," he smiled sourly at that thought, cocking his head to the side. "But it is strange thing, da? At least others here are thinking so...."

Ivan laughed a little. "I think it is fitting. I am being the strangest thing you've heard of, and you are one of the strangest I have," he smiled, though he was pretty certain that while strange in almost every way, the man in front of him was a good sort of strange. "It is inconvenient sometimes, da. But other times it is very nice. I like being a country. And I would be liking very much to be going back to it."

He shifted slightly, looking thoughtful at the question, frowning slightly. "Honestly? I... I do not know. But I do not mind so much."
